Auburn Posted February 10, 2023 Posted February 10, 2023 I really love the album and I'm so happy she's finding success after all these years Still can't find the pink CD with the deluxe tracks in the store here, I've been multiple times over the past week

Green Posted February 10, 2023 Posted February 10, 2023 It's top 10 in the US according to HDD, but the numbers are so close with Harry and Beyoncé. I hope she gets the top 10 on Billboard too https://hitsdailydouble.com/sales_plus_streaming
Hector Posted February 10, 2023 Posted February 10, 2023 So glad she got the UK #1 Hopefully Canada at least gives her a top 5 as well.
OnlyManInTheWorld Posted February 10, 2023 Posted February 10, 2023 I love Shania but is it really her voice?

allforyou Posted February 11, 2023 Posted February 11, 2023 10 hours ago, OnlyManInTheWorld said: I love Shania but is it really her voice? This has been explained over and over again for at least since 2017 but she had Lyme's Disease in 2004 and it ended up permanently damaging the nerves on her vocal chords, for a couple of years she couldn't even sing. After years of vocal therapy she ended up coming back with a Vegas show in 2012 and finally released an album in 2017. Around 2019 she had open throat surgery so this is her first album since doing that. 9 hours ago, Daddy said: Republican queen sounds horrendous from open throat surgeries. Not her fault. Is this really necessary? Coming to her album thread to shade her just because of her getting a #1 album? It ain't that deep
Green Posted February 11, 2023 Posted February 11, 2023 Her voice sounds much better in "Queen of Me" than "Now", so it actually got better. The only song where she doesn't sound good is "Not Just a Girl" Anyways Giddy Up! is one of her best songs since the Up! era and the album has so many great songs. So overall it was a really good comeback from her
Lukey Posted February 11, 2023 Posted February 11, 2023 Hey, helloooo I just said goodbye And you didn't care Enough to ask me why She sounds so good there Also love the bridge

allforyou Posted February 11, 2023 Posted February 11, 2023 So happy that the album rose from initial predictions of 33K to the final one being 37K. I really hope she manages to debut at #10 (I'd also love for HDD to have underestimated it by a few hundred copies and it actually debuting at #9 ).
TheGreatestX Posted February 12, 2023 Posted February 12, 2023 (edited) #2 in Switzerland, tied with Up! as her highest charting album there https://hitparade.ch/charts/alben/12-02-2023 Edited February 12, 2023 by TheGreatestX
Lukey Posted February 12, 2023 Posted February 12, 2023 Does anyone else think the chorus of Got It Good is the same as not just a girl
Green Posted February 12, 2023 Posted February 12, 2023 It's officially #10 in the US according to Billboard Twain closes out the top 10 of the new Billboard 200, as her latest studio album, Queen of Me, debuts at No. 10 with 38,000 equivalent album units earned. Of that sum, album sales comprise 34,000; SEA units comprise 3,500 (equaling 4.92 million official on-demand streams of the set’s tracks) and TEA units comprise 500. Twain previously visited the top 10 with Now (No. 1 in 2017), Greatest Hits (No. 2; 2004), Up! (No. 1, 2002), Come On Over (No. 2, 1997) and The Woman In Me (No. 5, 1996). https://www.billboard.com/music/chart-beat/sza-sos-number-one-eighth-week-billboard-200-albums-chart-1235252457/
gagacasanova Posted February 12, 2023 Posted February 12, 2023 Shania may have another Adult Contemporary smasher on her hands. Giddy Up is at #25 on Mediabase. Waking Up Dreaming has a current peak of 11 on Billboard.

Since she only did 31K I was expecting something abysmal for Shania (like 16K) so Shania actually doing 38K is still shocking to me
GiftFromGod Posted February 14, 2023 Posted February 14, 2023 Giddy Up! is doing well on Spotify given the lack of performances and limited airplay.

Saint James Posted February 14, 2023 Posted February 14, 2023 they made the right choice putting On Three and D&D on the deluxe. Not the bops I was hoping for.

allforyou Posted February 14, 2023 Posted February 14, 2023 The album debuted at #2 on the Canadian Albums Chart (behind SZA's SOS). ngl I was expecting a #1 debut but oh well… I can't find its first week sales though. Also it re-entered the Canadian Hot 100: #81 - Shania Twain - Giddy Up!
