ithinkheknowsoutsold Posted October 23, 2022 Posted October 23, 2022 I remember we were doing predictions for both albums on BuzzJack a few days ago and I expected Midnights to do 110K total and The Car to do 60K, it's crazy to me how much better they're actually doing.
Holiest Dreams Posted October 23, 2022 Posted October 23, 2022 I truly can’t. I wonder if she can do 200K.
Bindi Posted October 23, 2022 Posted October 23, 2022 Insane numbers for both. Is AM's album that good?
Carter Posted October 23, 2022 Posted October 23, 2022 ok now it make sense why taylor gave those tour presale because she had actual competition lmao
Green Posted October 23, 2022 Posted October 23, 2022 Poor Arctic Monkeys Imagine being blocked with those huge numbers I wish they had released a week before.

No, not poor Arctic Monkeys. I've seen this film before (Future Nostalgia vs. 5SOS) & I didn't like the ending! The Arctic Monkeys have a huge UK following. And they can have tricks up their sleeves. Taylor's team need to push this more in the UK somehow.

KOMH Posted October 23, 2022 Posted October 23, 2022 First international female album to open with <150k since Rihanna's Talk That Talk

I feel like that always happens in the UK. Good chart battles always boost the numbers of the people at the top. I still remember how Kylie Minogue and Little Mix battled it out for the top spot when Disco and Confetti came out and how that led to both albums selling way more than expected.
UnusualBoy Posted October 23, 2022 Posted October 23, 2022 Huge numbers for both acts. Taylor may get to 160-180k which is really huge!

And better album WON! Now Kylie is about to score another #1 next year ---- Poor Monkeys would've been #1 if they choose better week. Just like how if Avril released Love Sux one week earlier, she would've been #1
Stan.killah Posted October 24, 2022 Posted October 24, 2022 AM selling 100K+ of that disappointing album!?
