simmnfierzig Posted October 20, 2022 Posted October 20, 2022 Wtf is this Girl. Way are they so low across the board And she certainly has more platinum eligible songs
Protocol Posted October 20, 2022 Posted October 20, 2022 The fact that Big Machine will NEVER certify 1989 Diamond
byzantium Posted October 20, 2022 Posted October 20, 2022 It’s a shame no one will ever get 1989 certified diamond. It’s been eligible for years now.
Hot Volcano Posted October 20, 2022 Posted October 20, 2022 But her stans were claiming these albums were all smash albums

JorgeM Posted October 20, 2022 Posted October 20, 2022 I don’t know if is Taylor or Republic but not certificate the albums at the real units for saving a bunch of dollars is shame, but of course male artist get update every time that they score a gold cert

Aren't you the one always going around saying Chromatica was a success because it sold 1.1M units or something?

If a 2X platinum LP in 2 years is not a smash, then I fear Chromatica is a BOMB, since it's never going to get there. I never said that, I just said that the LPs are clearly undercertified. For instance, you can add up Nielsen's numbers from 2020 and 2021 and that alone would take Folklore to over 3M, without taking into account the 2022 numbers.
Green Posted October 20, 2022 Posted October 20, 2022 Why did they certify Folklore only 2x Platinum when it's eligible for 3x Platinum at least Something like that happened with Planet Her. It was certified only Platinum when it was eligible for 2x Platinum.
Green Posted October 20, 2022 Posted October 20, 2022 I understand the RIAA doesn't count user generated streams but the difference between 3.7 million (Folklore) and a 2x Platinum certification is big It's obviously undercertified

OMG a hater. You know that Folklore and evemore have higher units than ther certification. Your faves are all flop, better stream their work

Everyone is confused what happened here. It really makes no sense, but in reality the album is very close to 4x platinum

Everything else estimates Billboard counts user generated videos so maybe that gave you guys a false hope, folklore is nowhere near 3.7m units
