60k (Rio) and 44k (São Paulo) tickets per show were apparently sold for the Brazil shows.

So across all 5 dates, she'll be playing to around 250k people

.

Coldplay did 70k in Rio Imagine Dragons did 49k in SP. And both werent selling partial view tickets.

Does that mean the floor is gonna have some large gaps?

I think for Oceania, she'll announce 2 show at Melbourne Cricket Ground and Sydney's Accor Stadium each, and 1 show at Auckland's Eden Park in the first round.

Then she'll likely add an additional show to each location and end up with 6 shows in Australia and 2 in New Zealand. :ninja:

She should pull a Ed Sheeran and sell 1M tickets in Austalia alone.

That would be my guess.

These are going the be her first ever shows where the entire floor is general admission afaik, so perhaps she didn't feel comfortable having the entire floor filled with people (like it usually is with Coldplay) and thus sold fewer tickets to give people on the floor more space. :gaycat6:

She definitely could, but Australian media reported that she's only going to Sydney and Melbourne in Australia, so she'd need 5-6 dates at each venue to get to 1M tickets, which seems unlikely with how she prefers to keep her stops short. :gaycat7:

It's the size of the stage

the inside looks like a small rugby stadium… it fits 40k people apparently but her stage is too big for it I think

32k people seated plus all the people you can fit on the floor. It's an indoor stadium, there are bigger ones in Europe but it's the best choice when Stade de France is unavailable.

To be fair I hate stadiums with "arena" on their name too :dies:

It generally does 35,000-40,000 which is in the “ballpark” of the capacity of US baseball stadiums.  A lot of European stadiums use the word Arena like the Friends Arena in Stockholm and the Allianz Arena in Munich.  However I know trolls will fixate on this .

In Europe that distinction simply doesn't exist. "Arena" is just a fancy name.

ahh yes, I didn’t think about the seated + floor, I thought they counted the whole capacity but it does make sense, thanks for clarifying

She could've played the Lyon Stadium tbh, and house about ~50k people per show there, but Paris is probably more easily accessible and has the pedigree of, well… being Paris :gaycat6:

I'm afraid the OTH trolls will keep calling her that once they see that the venue is called "arena" and has a capacity of 35k only. :gaycat7:

if she does 3 dates there, it’s 105k people :clap3:

I wish she’d done the Parc de Princes, since it’s slightly larger, still in Paris, and doesn’t have ‘arena’ in the name. I don’t think it’s much of a concert venue, though, which may explain why she went to La Defense.

Might be visiting your country for 3 days if she skips Portugal, sis :gaycat4:

1x Stade de France: 80k people

3x La Defense: 120k people
