Madrid with one date still doesn’t make sense, same with Cardiff…

Madrid and Cardiff are very much only happening so she can reach as many places as possible, as making only 1 date is not really that commercially viable for such a big stage. There's very likely not enough time to move and build the stage from Cardiff to Dublin nor from Madrid to Edinburgh (takes at the very least a week, or more depending how far it's being moved to), on top of there probably being other events booked right after.

Do you not think she will have two stages by the time Europe's turn comes? Considering the time in between dates is much less compared to US.

I was going through the surprise songs list, these were def my favourite pairings:

Tampa 2: "The Great War" (with Aaron Dessner) and "You're on Your Own, Kid"

Los Angeles 3: "Death by a Thousand Cuts" and "You're on Your Own, Kid"

Arlington 2: "Death by a Thousand Cuts" and "Clean"

Tampa 3: "Mad Woman" (with Dessner) and "Mean"

Nashville 3: "Would've, Could've, Should've" (with Dessner) and "Mine"

Detroit 1: "Haunted" and "I Almost Do"

Pittsburgh 2: "Seven" (with Dessner) and "The Story of Us"

Kansas City 2: "Last Kiss" and "Dorothea"

Louisville and St. Louis were at max capacity (set attendance records too) but Cleveland, DC (landover) and even to a point Columbus were kinda empty. Especially DC Night 2:-*

Louisville might've been, but that's one of the smaller stadiums she played on the Rep tour and since she was obviously aiming for 65k+ crowds for the Eras tour, it just wasn't going to fit her needs (not to mention Louisville being a small and not extremely wealthy market that's not too far from Nashville, Cincinnati, and now Indianapolis). St. Louis, on the other hand... Garth Brooks got 75k people (with a 360º show) and 1D got 53k, while Taylor did 47k. It was the second worst attended show in the US, but the only show behind it, Miami, grossed over 7M while St. Louis did 4.8M, so I definitely understand why she chose to return to Miami and not St. Louis or Louisville. I will say, I'm very interested to see what attendance numbers other acts who are going to Louisville and St. Louis this year will be able to pull.

But then again, she's gonna be sitting on this film for a long while, uh? The tour is only ending November of next year

if I recall correctly the 1989 and Reputation tour recordings were released pretty fast after they were shot, and also The Weeknd released the recording of his show before the European/international leg started.

so who knows, maybe there’s a chance we get it at the end of the year. all shows are sold out anyways

The Weeknd switched things up for each leg tho, he changed outfit, added props and changed the setlist and now he's shooting a new documentary here in Europe. Do you think Taylor will do the same? I don't but I don't mind it, I wouldn't want to give up any song

Spoiler

bar karma, marjorie and mastermind but I don't see her removing them

I’m kinda sad that the next TV will not have the US tour lift. Whichever gets released in LATAM shows will be so lucky! Brazilians stan HARD.

She better not do any repeat surprise sings this week, my mental health depends on it. It's all I wake up for in the mornings.

Those were also the cities where, on an average ticket price basis, the Rep tour performed the worst. Louisville ($94.52), Columbus ($105.04), Cleveland ($100.32), and St. Louis ($102.11) (alongside Minneapolis ($103.69), but that's too big and isolated of a market for her to skip) were the only shows in the US to have an average price under $110. I think Cincinnati was picked over Cleveland in Ohio because it's closer to both Columbus and Louisville, and Pittsburgh and Detroit are both close to Cleveland and had shows. Landover (119.12) was actually not too far below the US average ($132.42), but the stadium there is in really rough shape and acts are starting to skip it on their US stadium tours, though I'm not sure why she didn't go to Baltimore instead.

Plus, the Louisville, Landover, Cleveland, and St. Louis dates were some of the few to not sell 52k+ tickets (the US avg. was 55k) and not because of any stadium constraints, so I guess she realized that it wasn't really in her best interest to go there again.

The Landover stadium is trash, it's the worst stadium in the US, and I heard there was some mess with people's bags with rep tour in 2018.
