Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour | Long Live: 2 Cities Left

I've literally never heard of this before?

Its completely standard for them to hold back on an extra day or two only to announce 'extra' due to demand 2 days later. The pure logistics cost of her show vs 5 days is completely not worth it. Its why a lot of artists don't even bother to tour here in the first place.

On a cursory search I could find a bit of information about some locations that are very limited. But I don't think the ones Taylor is doing have any sort of limit so she could add more dates.

Quote

"Sydney Cricket Ground and Allianz Football Stadium in the Moore Park precinct are currently restricted to hosting just four concerts a year, but the new proposal suggests increasing that limitation to 20."

"The number of concerts permitted at Australia’s Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane could be set to double over the next two years to meet increased post-pandemic demand, under plans being considered by Queensland government. The 52,500-cap stadium is currently allowed to host a maximum of six gigs per year."

I get not hitting Brisbane and Adelaide on top of Melbourne and Sydney because they're closer geographically but I understand the ire for not hitting Perth. For 1989 she hit Brisbane, Adelaide and Melbourne within 5 days of each other but that was a much smaller and less complicated stage and they had a secondary one as well. If anything, maybe it would make sense to go to Perth right after Singapore since there's a gap in dates and they're close geographically?

What's clear so far is she's only wanting to do multiple shows in these stadiums so she'd need to spend almost an additional month in Australia to do that in all 5 cities. That would either eat up most of her time off after Singapore (plus you have to account for the fact they have to get everything alllllll the way over to Europe in that time as well) or it would push the entire European leg a month back and she wouldn't be wrapping the tour up until nearly October. And who knows what plans she has at the end of the year for music, etc.

Obviously she can't add another weekend since Tokyo is immediately before and Singapore is immediately after, but maybe she can pull a Mexico and do 4-in-a-row for both cities. That'd be quite intense though since she's already doing that in Tokyo right before. :rip:  But at least she'd be doing more dates there than she did for Red, 1989 and reputation.

It’s kind of insane she’s going on this massive tour while still being a fulltime actively releasing popstar. :rip: Like, you guys, 99.99% of the time the tour is the end of the era before a long break. But she’s fully releasing another project in the middle of this and will probably be releasing another as it goes into the following year and potentially ANOTHER one at the end of it. There’s something to be said about having some understanding that maybe she doesn’t want to still be touring in 2026 when she has so much on her plate ddd. If she were to hit every single country/city mentioned here she would fully have to be touring every single weekend of 2024 and the first half of 2025 with no breaks.

why the hell would she go to Edmonton if she even skipped cities like new orleans like be serious if she ever did canada it would've been toronto and vancouver only

she chose that small german city because they have a big stadium and it's in the rhein corridor anyway it's not like it's isolated

the marseilles stadium has terrible sound quality people started leaving bey's concert there 10 minutes in + Marseille as a whole is such a gh*tto city

On the topic of France stadium, how's Nice Allianz Riviera?

Went to Coldplay's show last night, I was in the upper bowl right in front of the stage and while my view was exactly what I wanted for their show (lights, stage and everything) I could barely spot Chris Martin on stage and it was super tiny. At the same time, I had a lot of friends in the lower bowl, let's say in the catwalk area (so on the side) that had their view blocked by towers and props.

Has anybody checked for that? What sections are likely to be blocked by tents or such things at Taylor's show? I wish I could see her a bit closer and not rely 100% on screens, I was aiming for lower bowl, but I don't want to have my view blocked.

So basically there will be two ways to enter the ticket raffle  1) the raffle for Amex card holder 2) Lawson ticket

For 1) you need an AMEX card that used by Japan resident so there's no need to look further here

2) to book a ticket in Lawson ticket you need a phone verification (by Japan phone number obviously) and you uses an app called AnyPASS for a ticket (you also need a phone verification here)

BUT I think we need more information I'm 99% sure this is right but I think we can wait for VIP package ticket raffle (which held in 6/23-6/26)

Apparently there's some agency that help you for phone verification but obviously the best way to get a ticket is having a friend from Japan

As I said earlier I still think there will be tickets left for the general sale. I know the demand is otherworldly this time but I got a ticket very easily for rep tour. 4 dates for Tokyo dome is really really huge I think so there might be possibility

Sis you’re all I have right now, the King Of My Heart.

A friend in Japan can create an AnyPass account, how will the e-tickets be distributed to us if we don’t have an AnyPass and she’s not coming to the concert?

Let's talk about how the Singapore Government made sure it's the only stop in SEA.

To think we went from allegations she was allergic to croissants to now having the Mona Lisa clutching her oily painted pearls shaking for presale access.

apparently a "friend" can pass one of their tickets if they booked more than one ticket. ex) if you book two tickets with AnyPass then you can give me one of your ticket to me. But you also should go to the show with me:skull: (or I can attend the show if you let me borrow your phone :rip: )

Pink’s show in 2019 had 44k. And the stadium’s total capacity will be expanded from 54k to 61k from what I saw.

Don’t post it on twitter since I see a lot of swifties lashing out to other swifties  for allegedly being “greedy” by taking the opportunities from other fans by going multiple times in the same city.
