do we think she's gonna announce second dates for the european cities that only have 1 so far?

Lyon second date is gonna happen

Shes not gonna do only 1 date per stop. Her team is definitely gonna try for at least 2+ per stop. The only one I can see them not doing a 2nd date is probably Poland

I actually think they are also getting second date considering Poland basically stands for the rest of the Eastern Europe.

Let's hope cuz it would be cool for every stop having a 2+ dates :foxaylove2:

The Singaporean exclusive SEA dates are definitely an economic move by the government.

I know there are 3 more dates reserved but they cant possibly think 6 will suffice. Coldplay sold out 6 and Taylor is 1000000000x bigger than them over there. 12+ dates here we come  :razzle:

Her team smart for wrapping up the concert in London instead of Austria and Poland:rip: Shes definitely gonna add 2 more dates :foxaylove2:

And she might even add more to the 1st 2 dates. I hope I'm not overestimating her demand.

What's the record for most shows at Wembley on a single tour?

Solo, it's Michael Jackson with 7, but overall it's Take That (British band for those who don't know) with 8.

I hope you are right just like you were right for the announcement. :jonny5:

What about the 3rd dates for Paris?

Yes, I'm sure some have additional dates. France has more to be announced depending on how well they sell

I can't believe the response to this in her weakest overall market (mainland Europe) :deadbanana2:

The smashing success of the American dates as really made her tour a must see in her weaker markets. She was smart to wait until months into the American leg to release the international dates.

The final gross of this tour is going to be close to $1.5 billion when all is said and done I think

Who would have thought that she would be smashing in EVERY market like this? Setting stadium records in the USA, Mexico, mainland Europe, Oceania etc while doing nearly 100,000,000 streams per day on Spotify :rip:

Truly wonder what the next made up drag for OTH will be now that "local!!1!1!!" is out the window

Currently, they just redefine impact to whatever makes their fav look better.

But I think after the tour, Taylor's popularity might have another small ebb. I don't think her next tour after this will be as long and popular. It could happen but this looks like a big peak and so her next era will likely be a bit smaller since her stans need time to recover.

Easy, it's just her fans and the GP doesn't care. :dies:

NOT confirmed but some polish insiders said that Taylor booked 3 dates for Poland. Btw sadly the stadium has not good sound that’s why I’m focusing more on the Hamburg date but I hope that if it doesn’t go well, it will be easier for me to get tickets in Warsaw as I’m from Poland.

I can definitely see 3 dates, because Poland is basically pulling Eastern Europe ( and that’s for starters since Southeastern Europeans are also trying that one ). I am from Serbia, so I am trying Poland as well alongside Austria and Italy as the closest locations, but Germany and Sweden ( due to cheap flight tickets ) are also an option.

The thing is her issue here (at least Spain) is recognition among the GP. If you ask random people in the street almost everyone +40 y/o will say they don't know who Taylor Swift is. She is not played in the radio and she is not a big celebrity like Beyoncé or Britney Spears who everybody knows.

But she has a big and loyal fanbase just like everywhere else. And when it comes to selling concert tickets, if you have 200k fans absolutely obsessed with you, that's 200k tickets you will sell. GP recognition is not relevant to fill a stadium. Dua Lipa, The Weeknd or other radio darlings may have more streams (now they don't, though) but they have far less die hard fans willing to pay 200€ or more to see them live.

i hope you are referring to Belgians and Australians, because Southeast Asians have every rights to b*tch at the ways she has treated us given the support we have given her since her debut, we stanned her the biggest and the longest just behind the US.

I'm sorry it's not her fault we live in khia countries with sh*t infrastructure (i say this as an african. my country has worse infrastructure than most so don't eat me alive)

also not you guys complaining about the absence of korean shows as if that is not by far her weakest market in asia.... she's never even had a top20 album there... and korea is a weak market for touring too. most kpop artists do 3 times more shows in japan than korea

Since she defeated France and Italy, South Korea keeps the throne as the main OTH country now

What's the record for most shows at Wembley on a single tour?

8 shows Progress Live - Wikipedia , 3+5 will make it

I think following this up with a music festival (like a bigger version of Lover Fest) would be cool. She will really have the freedom to surprise and do intimate shows, festivals, etc. to mix things up because she’ll have nothing left to prove.

She could definitely break the Wembley record imo. None of her other dates even went to general sale yet.

What an interesting development for the girl who is unknown in The Louvre. :fan:

Though I would have preferred if it wasn't the case cause damn it's going to be a nightmare getting those tickets. :deadbanana4:

France three dates' surprise songs idea:

Paris Day 1
ME!, Stay stay stay

Paris Day 2
Girl at Home, closure

Lyon day 1
Beautiful ghost, and Ronan

The absolute nerve to include Closure and Ronan in this group :biblio:
