1988: Sting (4), Michael Jackson (9)

1990: The Rolling Stones (10), Paul McCartney (6), Janet Jackson (4)

1991: George Michael (4)

1992: Michael Jackson (8)

1993: Madonna (5)

1995: The Rolling Stones (7)

1996: Michael Jackson (4)

1998: Mariah Carey (4), The Rolling Stones (4)

Oh wow, she's the first artist to do so since the 80s/90s legends. :jonny:

The backlash for not including SEA is insane everywhere. I saw so many Indian reels feeling sad.

People are particularly sad because of Philippines, India and China exclusion. Those are her country.

We love her so much :chick3:

The Southeast Asian snub makes no sense. If you’re gonna go through the effort of taking the stage to Singapore, why not take it to Kuala Lumpur or Jakarta as well? Bangkok and Manila are a little farther, but still very possible.

She has a gap after Singapore so maybe she’ll announce more cities later.

Taylor is a businesswoman. I'm a stan but keep it real, she's not going to do a concert just because of "loyalty" :hoetenks:

Not to mention there were likely cities/countries in Asia that could have happened but didn't because negotiations fell through, like in Chile.

Taylor is definitely generating more revenue per year from India and PH than Japan atp but here we are

Does she know how expensive it is to travel to Japan? She has many young fans , we can't afford this rn.

This is insane

Eras Tour is once in a generation tour , sometime Taycapitalist need to go

Yeah and Jakarta has a population of 10 millions with PPP GDP per cap of 62K, and they actually stream her music and new projects.

When did Jakarta become richer than 75% of Europe :rip: something is wrong

In India we have stadiums with capacity of 100k and 120k and near the coast too.

For SEA , India is cheaper to travel. But she paid us dust.

The funniest thing is , She didn't even consider India.

Like what's the problem with India? We could have filled 6 dates by ourselves and that too with 100k capacity each.

She would have made enough profit

It’s 9k nominal. And it what it matters since this money would be taken out of the country

I hate this puta. Why is she paying dust her biggest supporters (Southeast asian fans) since her Fearless days? When she's not yet a global pop superstar and just a mere country singer, these fans are already onboard with her. Why is she ignoring the rest of Asia, Singapore and Japan are not enough! Isn't she aware without the Midnights streams from the Philippines (2nd biggest after the US) and the rest of the SEA countries she will not be able to break Spotify's streaming record? Many Asian fans are disappointed! :noparty:

it sucks for us Asians but honestly there’s an explanation for most of them

Malaysia and Indonesia - Vigilante **** and YNTCD performances would be banned and i guess she didn’t want to compromise

Philippines - no stadium

China - politics

so i guess the biggest snubs would be Thailand and India, those could’ve happened in theory. South Korea doesn’t really use her but i guess with her demand she could still sell out a stadium. but yeah that’s it.

Unfortunately, its the reason why India gets skipped by basically every Western artist. There isn't enough confidence that the tickets would sell for enough to cover the cost of shipping all of Taylor's production and setting it up.

India is in a bad place since the promoters there don't really have experience or connection with the promoters big western artists uses. They don't have the expertise even to set up Taylor's stage and production (local riggers set up Taylor's stage in each spot, she doesn't bring them with her).  Basically, stadium tours require a full pre-existing infrastructure that doesn't exist in India.  Its not something Taylor can create herself and have concert dates that would break even.

Nobody here is a Taylor Swift representative. What do you gain arguing these things. Go speak about it on twitter, make noise on newspaper, music promotors etc.

Also if she were to tour there, then you would be complaining about the high cost of the tickets.

India can be the capital of technology of the world at this point.

Of course they have the expertise to build the “stage”.

From insiders, she was negotiating for dates in Indonesia and Thailand but the negotiations failed. Same thing happened in Chile.

But basically, the main issue, is that SEA she needs to ship her stuff between dates which really increases costs. In Europe, since she can transport stuff easily on train and truck, she can afford to play dates that gross less since the transportation is cheaper and quicker.

It’s obviously her touring team’s fault. She got lucky with Ticketmaster US fiasco but this one is all on AEG.

Is it confirmed that more Asia dates won’t be added? There is a 2 month break after Singapore

3 more dates in Singapore

That's it

I get that some countries like Indonesia and Malaysia would be difficult because of religion but she definitely could have done Thailand or China or Taiwan. She could do a US size tour in China and it would sell out and they have amazing infrastructure.

What in the world would make you think she's coming to India :rip: Was never happening in a million years. And apparently the Philippines don't even have a stadium? :deadbanana4: WHAT were y'all expecting
