But are we sure the gross is going to be that much? Cause I'm pretty sure here in Brazil it's going to be 5m per date max

Sure some dates will be lower, but I think the american dates are more likely between 11m and 15m, and some of the other dates like Wembley and Cricket ground might be even higher than that as the stadiums are larger.

Girl she’ll definitely gross 1B. Y’all had modest expectations for Midnights and it became the biggest album since 25. She’ll beat Elton’s evil ass :clap3:

I mean, yeah, she will because the gross in the US will be huge. But the gross in other parts of the world will drag the average down a lot.

Wait, I read that Billboard or Rolling Stone estimated that the renaissance tour will gross 2.1 Billion.. so the Eras tour has no chance at being the highest grossing tour, right?! cause Beyonce will announce south america dates as well.

Chinese fan bars are already mass threatening to go to Singapore :deadbanana2: she should’ve worked to get Xi to free up the stadiums for her, but the geopolitical mess that would be.

Hope she won't get to a point where she needs to give free tickets to everyone like they did in Croke Park during the rep tour. it was embarrassing.

Wait

Sis it's definitely not happening considering the demand for the show in 2023. I WISH the demand was lower so I could be sure to get tickets. :gaycat6:

I think you underestimate how much bigger Taylor bas gotten in Europe. So many people I know that didn’t care about Taylor / disliked her are now fans of her and want to see her. Trust me, those international dates will do exceptionally well as well.

And @Klein is probably buying tickets in every single country so yall safe :clap3:

Neither tour is grossing that. They had an absurd gross range for both tours. It was something like "It will gross anything from 1 dollar to 1 million dollars".

Last time she toured Malaysia and the Phillipines was the red tour. So 10 years ago. And both these shows had 10k attendance. She's gotten so much bigger in these markets. She really should've toured there. They deserve, just as the south America swifties deserve.

I'm hopeful the US grosses will come in higher than even Billboard anticipated, because they've been selling 360 level seats for the majority of the dates by opening up obstructed view tickets that weren't included in Billboard's analysis. I'm thinking $700M+.

While there will definitely be dates that don't come close to her US gross, like in LatAm and some of the smaller European countries, I think we might be surprised by some of the international dates. For example, I think Wembley and Melbourne Cricket Ground could potentially outgross any US date because those stadiums are so much bigger.

I was being conservative because I remember when the reputation tour grosses were lower than expected.  And I agree that London and Melbourne might be the highest grosses but overall the international stadiums tend to be smaller.  I think about 7.5 million on average internationally is a reasonable conservative estimate.

And even with this conservative estimate she still gets to a billion and takes the title of highest grossing tour of all time. (Even adjusting for inflation)
