I believe it’s more to do with venues. The football season changed to dates artists normally tour there. Like I’m sure her team wants Croke Park but if she can’t get that, next up would be Aviva which is 50k. The Weeknd has dates but it’s a field. Whats the cause of the insurance costs? If they can't get Croke park they should just go to other cities. She should be efficient and go to venues that maximize the number of people that can see here even if it means passing over some places.

This, but stadiums are lowkey holding her back now. She should pull a Madonna and do fields where she’d have 100k in attendance 1

Feanor Posted June 19, 2023 Posted June 19, 2023 Ed Sheeran played Croke Park in late April last year (presumably because starting May, football takes over the venue all summer long) and with the France dates rumored to be in early May, maybe she'll start the European leg in Ireland like Ed did, so that she can play Croke Park while it's still possible. Of course this insurance issue would still exist, so she might ultimately skip Ireland altogether.
Popboi. Posted June 19, 2023 Author Posted June 19, 2023 Updating the OP with the remaining dates/surprise songs tomorrow with the (let's manifest!) European dates announcement

(I kind of hope she also goes to Taiwan). I lived in Vietnam so flying to Singapore is much cheaper and fellow South East Asia means no need visa. Taiwan would also be a good acessible option outside of South East Asia. Japan is very very expensive, 5x more expensive than Singapore. So im hoping thats all of Singaporian/SEA girlies spend all their coins on Coldplay already (they just sold out like 8 shows in SEA). So i have a chance for Taylor.

They aren’t really. I just think her staging is more suited to the stadiums, with the catwalk screen and wristbands. The Weeknd is doing it so I guess the stage will be no different and his staging is big too. This is Harry at Slane in Ireland.
MardinBeksloy Posted June 20, 2023 Posted June 20, 2023 The way she went from doing two (one flopped) shows in Croke Park to doing none

Ten years ago she used to be big only in the anglophone world and east asia, and now it's the rest of the world Edited June 20, 2023 by GabrielBR

Cocetti Posted June 20, 2023 Posted June 20, 2023 (edited) You guys I might have a scoop!! So my friend is working with Stockholms application to host Eurovision next year and Live Nation is a part of the application (as they are handling the bookings for the venues in Stockholm). And apparently Tele2 Arena is off limit during one of the weeks of may 2024 because they have a huge huge booking that they absolutely cannot move around, they wouldn't say who tho. So me and my friend are thinking it must be Taylor The attendance record at Tele2 is currently held by Madonna - 40k Edited June 20, 2023 by Cocetti
