Do we think she's bringing the full stage?

Yeah.

The real question is Is she is gonna make a shorter show.

I don't think that shorter but i can see folklore and evermore being combined 2-3 songs less and maybe only one surprise song.

Now She has a global attention and everything but in these countries the gp kind of audience will be way bigger than in the US. Even fans are complaining a little bit folklore set is too long.

I don’t find any reason for shorter the tour, just would bring negative comments

Streets are saying she’s doing 2 shows in Sydney and 2-3 in Melbourne in February. Her demand here is insane rn she could easily do way more but I understand the cost of moving that stage around :cries:

She could do 3 months here like Pink did for the Funhouse tour and it would still be a bloodbath to get tickets. Me and my co-workers were all saying how we would all pay whatever it cost to get tickets to see her :rip:

the reason is making the best show possibile for every audience.

If the negative comment is about not making last great american dynasty on a 48 songs show  her career can survive this 2 hours of negative comments I guess.

-"the folklore set is too long :/ and this is coming from a folklore stan. tlgad, as much as i love it, could have been cut and she could have reordered it: the 1 > cardigan > august/illicit affairs > mtr. and leaned more into the rock vibe"
-"Folklore and Evermore eras were too long… hated the red era outfit besides All Too Well
-"folklore/evermore sets too long"
-"-the green dress is ugly
-the folklore section is too long

-"The Archer is a waste of time, Folklore was too long....
-"Folklore/Evermore era is too long, cute back 1-2 songs on each and give one song to speak now and 2 to debut.."

and so many. These are pure american swifties. I don't see any problem if she cuts the 1/invisible strings and american dynasty...the numbers are not special

betty at the guitar
august (viral hit)
illicity affairs (one of the strongest vocal moment of all the show)
my tears richochet (great visual in the numbers)
cardigan (big hit)

seems a good set without redundant moments.

For some reason they're always lowballing the number of dates to then add more with the demand, so whatever number they initially announce in Australia at least two more will be added.

Anyway is pretty normal to change setlists of tours from a leg to another. Of course you try to build the best possible show for the region you're performing.

Even in this thread i read someone complaining about Delicate being a "boring" moment on the Rep setlist. Since Delicate was a radio hit in the Us and a not factor song in Europe or other zones you can make I did something bad instead of it. That song is spectacular live and the Rep tour didn't tour in these countries. The song is not an hit too in these regions but you can make a spectcular moment and it can be funny even for people listening to it for the first time.

Again there is nothing wrong to work on a show and change it (a little bit) from a leg to another to make it the best possibile show for people going in every market :ninja:

In Australia they have a limit on how many concerts can be held in a stadium each year (like a really low limit too), so Taylor can probably only do 3 dates per stadium maximum, because there might be only 5 slots per year, and they have to leave SOME open for other acts. It's why P!nk is playing at two different stadiums in Sydney.

I mean how she will be able to do this touring the world? its a concert, its her vision and people should not be going to listen to this or that exactly

ugh don’t get me started! I was fuming at my Red Tour date when she cut Begin Again (and another song iirc) for Europe.

I didn’t go but I believe the shows for Speak Now in Europe were also shortened, it’s so disrespectful to international fans

Well Speak now flopped in Europe. That's what European fans deserved for paying it dust.

A pity the talks with Chile fell through. That would've been another 2-3 stadiums show for her Latin America leg and it'd would alleviated some of the demand from the Argentinian shows.

Is it necessary a thread for every update on this tour? Like… discuss it in the official thread

If other bases can do it, Swifties can do it too.

That's just how it works. If you're that bothered about threads, you could just not enter them, maybe?

To be fair, a lot of the venues were small and the US stage was for the biggest arenas and stadiums. Also the dates didn’t do that well which shouldn’t be a surprise as Speak Now is her smallest album in Europe (as debut wasn’t really released).

But during Speak Now Tour she covered Tori Amos’ A Sorta Fairytale and showed taste and what would come with folklore and etc so its a WIN in my books

That would be a catastrophe as folklore and evermore pretty much kickstarted the juggernaut spike in interest in her brand as of late (see Lover vs now).

Also the Brazil/Argentina shows are advertised to start at 7 pm, most likely Sabrina and then Taylor at 8.

Stage won’t either be compromised as another of the reasons negotiations fell through in Chile is that her team said no to downsizing the stage.

I know..! I just was in awe after seeing the SN tour movie, and wished my show was as magical as in the movie!

Hopefully she doesn't ignore France this time around
