A bit pricey but at this point, I just pray for tickets. General B doesn't sound that bad but it's probably standing. Anyway, I hope I get tickets :duca:

no :gaycat7: i was just a casual listener until last year.

i have friends that got the lover ticket tho, i think everyone that has it it's basically guaranteed at the show.

I'm not counting on that. I think the tickets will be limited on the pre-sale

Prices are surprisingly reasonable.

So happy for Latin America! It's going to be NUTS.

Praying that the alleged prices for the Mexico dates are not official and are actually cheaper :gaycat6: although the source who mentioned the prices got them exactly right for the Lana concert too.

i like how US residents will be required a visa to go to Brazil since Lula's approval to remove Bolsonaro's act(that allows countries with no reciprocate free visa treatments towards brazilians). It will take effect on early October :coffee:

Huh? Love Taylor, but there’s no charity goin on. Her best tickets are more expensive than Harry Styles, Coldplay and RBD, the three biggest acts to extensively tour Brazil this year and in 2022. They also had lower prices for the lowest. It’s priced this way because otherwise people won’t go, especially younger. If she’s touring only Rio and São Paulo it has to be accessible, because traveling costs will outcost the tickets easily. The country is in crisis, inflation is soaring and there’s competition against other entertainment options around the same month, especially festivals where one gets to catch many different international acts. They were also smart to announce it after people have paid their RBD expenses and before Beyonce announces her dates. They all share pop audiences, but money is short to see them all. They are ensuring Taylor will comfortably sell out her dates and have a successful tour. Having said that I plan to go too, but just pointing these things out…

Her show is 2x as long as most other people's show with far higher production. The tickets are extremely economically priced for what she's putting on.

She will probably tour Europe next summer?

I think you and other users are confusing my argument. I didn't say her tickets were objectively expensive. I'm also not going into details with how long the concert goes and comparing productions, since I haven't seen Coldplay and Harry - and RBD is still going to take place. It's not shade to Taylor to point out that it is not a grand move by Taylor, or something to change our touring market by pricing tickets this much. It's actually the opposite: a direct consequence of our current economic moment. These are the average prices charged by major artists touring Brazil if they want to fill seats - just like Harry and Coldplay did. It's not uncommon in Brazil for international artists to still have tickets avaliable near the date if they are unreasonable priced and reason is directly related to our economic moment and how much people can spend beyond their needs and competing entertainments. Our touring market is not as competitive as western markets, but they are overpriced compared to our cost of living. We have a booming festival market, but they all watch out to not step on each other's toes, otherwise people will split and not show. Taylor is not above this. She needs to make her tour financially sound to fill up. She will do just fine.

I think I mostly understand what you're saying now. I'm speaking about a slightly different point though - none of which invalidates what you said. It's only at the same time her show is much more expensive to put on, so in order to justify visiting other places at all, she needs to command a price that would cover her far higher costs than other acts. The fact that she's not pricing higher than everyone else then is notable.

The tickets are very reasonably priced all things considered. There would be no way to make the dates work if she charged any less (as Taylor's booking fee is $2 million just for her, not considering any production cost, that information was shared with the failed negotiations in Chile).

No :monkey: La Tercera got their info from DG Medios that negotiations fell through after months for not being able to book Estadio Nacional. They couldn't offer the money to pay Taylor's team or use a venue that could fit the stage.

Flying, staying and getting tickets in Argentina is cheaper than what tickets would be here :gaylorcat2:

Oh, so I guess that explains the lack of Peru, Colombia and Chile in the announced dates

according to the pre registration form from ticketmaster, tickets will be sold to Mexico residents only. Which means a lot of international fans such as the ones from central and south america won't be able to buy tickets this time :dancehall:
