You went to two shows?!

But yeah, this stuff is as much for the fans that are spending money in town as it is for Taylor.

Feanor Posted April 20, 2023 Posted April 20, 2023 Billboard released their March boxscore report, and there are no numbers for this We usually get her gross numbers pretty quickly, so this silence is pretty unusual for her…
dussel_06 Posted April 20, 2023 Posted April 20, 2023 No boxscores means embarrassing numbers. She doesn’t have dynamic pricing. There will be news that she’s not breaking any records with this tour once the numbers came out. Lol

Lol women can literally sell like 250.000 tickets in one city and some misogynistic gay will find a way to try and play down the achievements. truly incredible.
Disconnect Posted April 20, 2023 Posted April 20, 2023 So, is Speak Now TV ever coming? It's been like 10 years lol.
Feanor Posted April 20, 2023 Posted April 20, 2023 Spoiler I do feel like the numbers might be lower than they had anticipated because it's really unlike her to wait this long, when on previous tours, she'd report her numbers like 1-2 weeks after the shows had happen. That, or maybe she doesn't want to be seen grossing $10M+ every night. While Taylor loves her money, she doesn't carry herself as this uber wealthy personality publicly.
Uncatena Posted April 20, 2023 Posted April 20, 2023 isn't it more impressive to sell record high number of tickets per venue with relatively fairly priced tickets then hike them up to high heavens?

Michael196 Posted April 20, 2023 Posted April 20, 2023 I said it before... they're probably waiting for her to break the record among women to announce the first batch of boxscores for maximum exposure
Andre2000 Posted April 20, 2023 Posted April 20, 2023 Some of you are mad she actually priced her tickets fairly? She should get more damn praise for that actually, there's artists like bey that claim to be in touch with people but charge ridiculous amounts for her shows
Shelter Posted April 20, 2023 Posted April 20, 2023 Billboard don't report numbers as much anymore, maybe that's it or she is waiting until the US leg is over. I seen vids, I think it's gross she is selling tickets behind the stage, it's pure greed imo. Can't believe she approved that. Just do a 360 tour if you want more money. The show starts at 8? The shows in Europe will be messy because it will be daylight. It won't get dark until 9 30 at least.

Sure, it would be nice to see her break touring records, but I'd rather see her price her tickets fairly so her fans don't have to go bankrupt (and in a perfect world, influence others to do the same). The price of concert tickets has become ridiculous in recent years. I don't really believe that the numbers are underwhelming though. Edited April 20, 2023 by Klein

How can the numbers be lower than anticipated when everything was sold at exactly the price they wanted? Even with a similar average price to Reputation she would still do about 10mil per night because of the attendance and Reputation average was probably lower because the prices were decreasing as the show approached. Carla Rosón Posted April 21, 2023 Posted April 21, 2023 so is the announcement for latam really coming this week?

A) her stage protrudes so far out into the field that people sitting in the wings beside the stage can still see her for 85% of the show, and each side does have a separate screen that shows the exact same feed as the main screens B) Other acts, Gaga for instance, did the same thing. A 360º show is logistically much more challenging and costs a lot more per show, which is why she was fine with it for a 4 date run for Lover Fest and not for a 52 date run. I'm really not sure how Ed is managing it, considering his grosses.
