Puta stands are so annoying. Trying to compensate for the garbage heap I suppose. :rip:

i agree that the folklore section is kinda mid, illicit affairs and my tears ricochet makes it so worth it tho :WAP: but evermore section is perfect wdgaf

Posted

My tears ricochet, betty and cardigan made folklore section worth it. also people sat down during that section + ATW10Mins so it was nice for a rest lol

Reputa definitely had the best section but that’s to be expected, it’s the album with the most hype bops

based on city of lover/ama artist of the decade performances, from pre-lover albums she'll never ever let go of:

Love Story/Trouble/Blank Space/Shake It Off

Decent chances ATW (full or not) will join that list after 10MV went #1.

since lover, by priority:

Anti-Hero definitely, as Her longest #1

Cardigan likely, as the only single from Her 3rd AOTY

Lover maaaybe

Willow possibly

We got the first reputation tour numbers a week after the first show, so probably by the end of this month.

I also thought folkmore would work better in arenas and they deserved an intimate-ish tour, but the videos proved that they DO in fact work in stadiums as well. I still haven't watched the entire show (thank you TN for deleting every video I bookmark) but from what I've seen evermore ATE and august/cardigan were a MOMENT.

It is completely normal for some people (mostly casual fans and locals) to sit down during the "slow" section. Die-hard swiffers will be on their feet belting bettysus and illicit affairs.

This tour would have been a trainwreck if it was mostly just MIDnights and Lover.

Yes, I feel like it would have been better if she had done an limited-ish arena tour run consisting of just 'folklore' & 'evermore' songs sometime in late 2021/2022, and then this 2023 stadium tour could've been for 'Midnights' & Lover' + older hits… :gaycat6:

Taylor literally can't tour arenas anymore. like, it's logistically impossible.

i feel so robbed we didnt get a tour for lover. why would we want the man and the archer? with death, paper and he knows right THERE

the folklore section is ok, people feel a little bit tired at the point cause it's a 3 hour concert, not because there is something wrong.

Also illicit affairs is made with a very orchestral pop version, betty has the sound of the record, so they are not totally acoustic songs. I think the last great american dynasty is the only one she could avoid but it's not a problem when you are there at the concert.

I  think a problem is also the folklore act is just after the performance of 10 minutes of all too well. So it's like 35-40 minutes of consecutive "slow" songs when you add ATW to it.

this would have been the best set list

lover

fearless

evermore

1989

speak now

folklore

reputation

red

taylor swift

midnights

the reason why people were down by folklore was because by then we had already experience 6 eras

I had to sit a little cause I was worn out from singing my heart and dancing

but 1989 came right after to relive uz

All these haters are mad they couldn’t afford going nor were able to get tickets so they settle for online videos

being lucky to be there both nights floor seats it was Amanzijg! Still recovering

Still not over the fact that there's no YOYOK. It's one of my favourite Taylor songs ever and also the one I was the most excited for tour.

She has to replace Mastermind with it, she really has to. :gaycat6:

Don't get me wrong, Mastermind is one of my favourite Midnights tracks too, but YOYOK really deserved to be the last song. It would've been by far the best moment of the night, for it to be downgraded to a once in a tour thing is such a shame.

Mastermind is a great track but I think it’s the least needed performance of the Midnights Act, imo. VS would’ve been my initial thought but it’s actually a serve :gaycat6:  In reality we could cut Bad Blood, Invisible String, Marjorie, or WANEGBT and make room for YOYOK, Long Live, Back to December, or Sparks Fly. But I guess that’s me nitpicking lol

She needs to come up through the stage on a pile of TVs that are playing different eras of her life. THAT’S A CLOSER.

Still not over that The Archer is in the set list (and The Man + YNTCD).
