Drake was the #1 most streamed artist in the US in 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, (#2 behind Post Malone in 2019), 2020, 2021 and now 2022. The most consumed artist in the US, I fear

That isn't happening lol. Drake is pulling an average of 150M US streams per week. Taylor will get a boost the week Midnights drops and maybe she pulls north of 400M US streams that week but she'll crash the following week and Drake will still maintain a healthy lead over her by the end of the year.

 

You said it yourself. Honestly, Nevermind wasn't a monster album and he's still that far ahead. That tells you all you need to know about his catalog/recurrent streaming numbers.

Do people not realize these are total streams from each artists catalogues. Some artists have one or two albums of material while others have like 10 or more. Obviously if you have out more songs/ albums your going to have an advantage.

She got a lot of hype for her sophomore + Good Days & I Hate U streams.
