LCTV Posted April 9, 2023 Posted April 9, 2023 Have the lower tracks passed 10k streams yet? We need to give her her 0.000000000000000000001 cents!

So I went to dig some stuff and as a fun fact, these are the dates when each of the songs were originally recorded, more or less Most of them barely changed since that time as well Hide contents 1. Midnight Dreams - Nov. 2021 2. Cure For Love - Nov. 2020 3. By The End Of The Night - Sep. 2021 4. Like A Saviour - Jan. 2021 5. Love Goes On - Mar. 2018 6. Easy Lover - Nov. 2016 7. Tastes Like You - Jun. 2021 15. Better Man - Sep. 2019 16. All By Myself - June 2021 Oh this is VERY interesting. The best songs are all pandemic era and it’s not even close. I would think they had some other songs from that session, so wondering why they chose to pull some older ones in instead
GardenPanty Posted April 9, 2023 Posted April 9, 2023 1 hour ago, RideOrDie said: it has a trap beat for the breakdown, and also a live band kinda section giving a rock-y vibe, and then some weird electronic production as well so a monstrous mixing of genres... and then clean bandit has a demo where they upped the electronic vibe with synths and other keys and a ******* disgusting pitched down man voice howling something like "you're a ******* dead man" or w/e... this description alone sounds like a mess
Haze Posted April 9, 2023 Posted April 9, 2023 I was thinking about how How Long sounded like something meant for EG0, and the date of the recording sort of points that way. Just for you gives me Lights more than Delirium. It's one of my faves. Tastes Like You has been on constant repeat here, and her vocals on Better Man are divine.

lpd446 Posted April 9, 2023 Posted April 9, 2023 I have to be Brave & Come Clean and say that I really like How Long
TheGreatMrY Posted April 9, 2023 Posted April 9, 2023 Her worthless store hasn't shipped my vinyl yet so i ordered another copy from my local store. The Power this album has.

All By Myself - June 2021 Now i get why she said it because half of the songs already made half a decade ago and she can't relate to it anymore HTH is honestly much better transition album from Lights + Halcyon to more mainstream pop sounds than Delirium and BB imo Edited April 9, 2023 by Mr. Blue_Shirt

Like, c'mon, Love Goes On, Waiting For It, How Long, Intuition and Better Man?! I would put literally all of them in the "worse" half of the album. While Just For You and Easy Lover aged so much better while being even older? Interesting. I think "How Long" is from the same session as "Hate me"...

Losing my ground Posted April 9, 2023 Posted April 9, 2023 I love how every artist is always "this is my best album and most personal to date" in each single new release, and Ellie is just "oh this is my least personal" lol
Temporal Posted April 10, 2023 Posted April 10, 2023 The playlisting on Better Man is just... abysmal
Yog Posted April 10, 2023 Posted April 10, 2023 The way I just purchased this album after streaming “Midnight Dreams”
