Renan90 Posted October 14, 2022 Posted October 14, 2022 TOP 50 ALBUMS YTD Bad Bunny, Rimas and The Orchard have abundant reason to celebrate because, with three months still left in 2022, it’s already a lock—nobody’s gonna catch Un Verano Sin Ti. The Latin flavor extends to Disney’s Encanto soundtrack, #4 YTD, which dominated the first half of the year. Last year’s champ, Morgan Wallen, is still going strong at #2, but Harry Styles is breathing down his neck. https://hitsdailydouble.com/news&id=333295&title=TOP-50-ALBUMS-YTD
Ger Posted October 14, 2022 Posted October 14, 2022 Hell impressive Morgan finishes at #2 after being #1 last year. Bad Bunny has had such a tremendous year, crazy. Hollywood's Bleeding is such a classic album at this point.
tiagol88 Posted October 14, 2022 Posted October 14, 2022 Wait...not Drake almost missing 1M after all this time I had no idea his album did so bad for his standards...
Jude Posted October 14, 2022 Posted October 14, 2022 Thank goodness Bad Bunny released this year... Or else that racist would have gotten another year end #1.
dangerousbutera Posted October 14, 2022 Posted October 14, 2022 Will Planet Her overtake CLB by the end of the year? And Gunna too, since Midnights will be top 10 in no time
Gerardo Posted October 14, 2022 Posted October 14, 2022 Three of my faves in the top 15 Un Verano Sin Ti is the best album we’ve had topping this chart in a long time
makeme Posted October 14, 2022 Posted October 14, 2022 Planet Her doing 1m during its second year is really impressive.
JawBreaker Posted October 14, 2022 Posted October 14, 2022 Drake, Abel and Posty all recent albums bombing we luv to see it Taylor reigning supreme as Republics biggest artist is about to show them how it's done
Cruel Summer Posted October 14, 2022 Posted October 14, 2022 Worth noting that the numbers are just a little outdated since they’re using the week ending 9/29: https://hitsdailydouble.com/ytd_project_activity Mostly the same rankings but with small changes like Taylor moving up a spot Midnights could ent the year in the top five and I think it will pull Red TV up a few more spots with it.

Michael196 Posted October 14, 2022 Posted October 14, 2022 Kendrick x3 but can DAMN and folklore pick up the pace a bit so neither gets kicked out by Midnights...
Moonlight Nation Posted October 14, 2022 Posted October 14, 2022 Bad Bunny at #1 where he belongs! It's so amazing to see two albums honouring Latin American music within the top 5 biggest of the year. "The Highlights" predicted at #5 is quite a delightful surprise. The power of a beloved catalogue of hits! Wasn't expecting to see "Dawn FM" so high, but considering it's still consistently charting in the top 100 despite no significant hits, I guess the lowkey longevity paid off. Imagine having your flop album still ending up among the top 15 biggest of the year Shout-out to Posty's "Hollywood's Bleeding" too! What a beast! Real shame he didn't invest on more singles, though. "Die For Me", "Staring At The Sun", "A Thousand Bad Times", and especially "Take What You Want" had huge hit potential, but well, hard to have long single rollouts during the streaming era, not to mention "Circles" being the longevity monster it was.

Flanders Posted October 14, 2022 Posted October 14, 2022 Bunny’s domination is so craze the album is so good too. However the numbers these days are so low compared to before. after being #1 for like 15 weeks it’s still only 2x platinum

Virgos Groove Posted October 14, 2022 Posted October 14, 2022 Un Verano Sin Ti Dawn FM at #13 is pretty solid, higher than I expected We just need Less than Zero to get its chance now CLB above HN is jarring, but I guess was bound to happen. That initial reaction killed whatever chance it had to become a hit. Justice for Sticky and Massive
