Demi failed to sell out a 1.9k venue?

Usually if it’s 62 tickets, the venue will round in up and claim sold out. Still doesn’t denying the fact that 2K venue is a flop, even the blackpink girls gather bigger crowd at Paris Fashion Week :skull:

Her tour has been a flop but her stans are so delusional :rip: I told them in the tour thread that her date here in Colombia was such a flop the promoter company gave away like 1.000 tickets for free, I have a friend who works there and he gave us free tickets (for like 15 friends and I) but her fans said I was lying. :lmao:

According to the Holy **** Tour wiki page, Demi's first US date failed to sell out, despite the venue capacity being 1963

September 22, 2022 Wheatland United States Hard Rock Live Sacramento Dead Sara 1,901 / 1,963 $140,523

Are the numbers correct? I can't believe Demi has fallen this much. Her South American dates' numbers look decent for her standards, has she become that much irrelevant in the US?

Artist, tour name, tour date, venue name and location is confirmed:

1901 didn't fill up a 2500 seats or 3000 standing venue.

Venues attracted people from 1 to 2 hour driving distance. At least the Sacramento metropolitan area.

Depending on how the area is defined.

The Greater Sacramento area refers to a metropolitan region in Northern California comprising either the U.S. Census Bureau defined Sacramento–Roseville–Arden-Arcade metropolitan statistical area or the larger Sacramento–Roseville combined statistical area, the latter of which consists of seven counties, namely Sacramento, Yolo, Placer, El Dorado, Sutter, Yuba, and Nevada counties.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sacramento_metropolitan_area

It's a region with high population growth and 2.7 million should be enough.

Since the late 20th century, it has been one of the fastest growing urban regions in the United States as Sacramento continues to emerge as a distinct metropolitan area.[2] In the 1990s, the metro area experienced a growth of just over 20%, with subsequent growth remaining above 10% per decade.[3] In the 2020 Census, the metropolitan region had a population of 2,680,831.[4]

Or 2.4 million.

The median income for a household in the MSA in 2000 was $48,401, and the median income for a family was $57,112. Males had a median income of $43,572 versus $31,889 for females. The per capita income for the MSA was $23,508.

Yeah cuz its practically sold out, those 62 tickets could be shitty seats with obstructed views or seats reserved for handicapped . Theyve been very precise with Demetrias numbers down to the dollar and audience membership.

yeah we know demi’s north american tour is much smaller than previous arena ones demi had, Demi’s team booked theaters instead of arenas for a reason. The smallest are 1K, largest are 7K. All dates so far were essentially sold out, and even the two that were selling poorly initially ended up practically sold out. Portland was 6.5K capacity and sold out.

this thread is misleading bc Demi literally sold 1.9K tickets in a 1.9K venue… it was just 62 tickets that werent sold lmao

It depends on stage set up, it was not set up for standing admission and stage is big since demi has an entire rock band performing live instrumentation lmao. Capacity is 1,963.

She's doing less than Louis Tomlinson... LOUIS TOMLINSON, how is that not bad? :deadbanana4:

I feel bad for her, this album and tour proved that no one is looking at her and her fan base is gone. :doc:

But I think it's her fault for the bad reputation. :michael:

I cant speak for Louis Tomlinson insanely overly successful touring abilities in Latin America (nor do I care), I am comparing Demi’s performance for this tour to in Neon Lights Tour 2014 (Latin American legs)

They were literally selling 2 tickets for the price of 1 in her Brazil dates, I believe you.

Not fighting harder to turn DWTD into a cute moderate era at least and rushing to go on tour for this album was a huge mistake. This entire era was DOA. I wouldn't be surprised if some years from now Demi says she doesn't feel connected to this album anymore.

Tinashe never had half the built in platform Demi got from her Disney days bffr :michael:it's not my fault your fav burned all of her goodwill in the industry & left her career in shambles. & I'm not a ODH by the way I'm one of the few people who listened to the album & gave it a chance:mandown:

OT: not everyone can have their Plastic Hearts era

You know what if she wasn’t literally playing this game every month with the world and stuck to one image for a while she probably could build and maintaina smaller fan base  guess who 90s GIF

You know you're through when your numbers are worse or on par with Z-listers like Sabrina Carpenter. Her stans were yapping for the past year about her lack of playlisting but even after the wake up call that was this album's chart run it never occurred to them that she brings in zero profit with and therefore isn't deserving of being playlisted. Besides, that's not entirely true since her label forked out a **** ton on her music videos and numerous performances. I'd be surprised if she ever embarked on another tour after this catastrophe.

Even if this was the case, doing 1.7k venues is still a huge decline for Demi who was doing 10k+ arenas just 4 years ago, with her previous tour

Lol she grossed over $140.000 in one night singing mid af songs regardless if it sold out or not. More than the average atrl’er will ever have in their bankaccount so idc if 30 people didnt show up :rip:
