She doesn't need to lift a finger when all the radio and playlist payola is doing all it's work I think a multi-week #1 lead and an album that has been one of the most streamed projects for 10+ weeks is an impressive feat for anyone, but especially a woman in her 40's who's been dropping music for 25 years now. The "playlist payola" excuse is weak, since this is how promotion works these days. She has yet to drop any visuals or perform her songs anywhere, which does boost a project though and she has yet to leave her house.
