Sam Smith's team didn't push for #1 when it was within reach. A lot of artists aren't releasing music videos anymore. It may be because English videos get so low views that it doesn't cover the cost of making it anymore so they're not bothering. It's not as if Beyonce needs any help selling tour tickets so selling the visual idea of her via videos may seem redundant.

There are visuals but something is obviously wrong.
