prediction for charlie is certainly up due to missed cut 25k on first estimated and delay physical/vinyl date just hurt his debut numbers here.

believe his team can overworking for top 10 but that's unnecessary and thus ok result, the issue now is latest single 'Loser' looks like flop on arrival... :omg:

Sad Charlie is missing the top 10.

Bey smashing, though. :WAP:

Cool for Beyoncé, her team should really put more of albums out : vinyls, CDs, cassettes. I hope the next act is handled better on that front.

Taylor. :clap3:

the tone deafness :deadbanana: "people bought the album so its fraudulence!!!"

as if companies aren't buying their artists' chart positions everyday

If it's a real demand, its streaming should be much higher in comparison to its sales but it's not. The figures indicates that sales are mostly from fanbase. And we know how their fanbase could buy 100 album each.

just because demand comes from a fanbase doesn't make it not real :cm:  as if every mpg doesn't have fans buying multiple copies of whatever they put out

But it's not natural either. Sure some of MPG have fans who buy several copies of their same albums but definitely not the way k-pop fans devoted for their idol. Besides, if a main pop girl album debuted at #1, they are quite popular among GP that week. Can't say the same for these k-pop act. Literally no one cares about them outside the fan base.

Who said about money here? That's not the point. I just pointed out that the chart is manipulated and it's annoying. U can't tell no one cares about BB on ATRL when literally this site full of chart nerds :rip: . AS if you don't care.

I think the discerning thing is that it's not really reflective of popularity, just a small portion of people multi buying for chart position. Other artists benefit from this too but the ratio here is a bit ridiculous tbh.

At the end of the day the user is just venting

Finally some talent in the top 3 with Bey, it's been awhile.

Or maybe Charlie should just stick to writing songs for The Kid Laroi and Justin Bieber. After all, he helped them get a radio smash that did 12 million Spotify streams a week.

I wonder how many of these "organic" western acts are having boxscores better than this and having people paying to watch them singing live. Not many I suppose :dancehall:

I hope that what they gain from stream let them buy at least a sandwich and an orange juice :dancehall:

not fans buying albums = "manipulated" :rip: what about all the payola that happens on a weekly basis from industry giants to push their artists?

this is the music industry. at the end of the day all these charts count consumption and they're making more $ than many popular artists.

the GP doesn't care about BB #1s. :deadbanana:

you're telling me Butter charted at #1 on Hot 100 is not fraudulence. It's natural demand? Girl, get real.

P/s: we're in the chart thread. Please stop telling me about GP doesn't care about chart.  It doesn't make any sense when you're posting in a chart thread. It's like you're trying to win a battle but you're completely out of point.

All that obnoxious shameless queer-baiting AND creating an entire album of uninspired songs that exist purely to contain some gimmick that TikTok can latch on to, only to (likely) debut outside of the Top 10 :bibliahh: :bibliahh:
