I mean, maybe the dirrty outfit is/should be more iconic and remembered, but it just isn’t, or at least hasn’t been in the last 20 years. Not everything that should be is. The public makes that decision. It is what it is.

I mean, she showed up on stage with Britney and Madonna, kissed Madonna and was literally edited out of the photos in the tabloids the next day. It's as if she didn't exist, and was never there. A disappearing act. Actually, that's iconic.

The Dirrty look may be one of Xtina's strongest looks but the Snake performance is not only referenced a lot, but still sells merch like funk pops, shirts, etc. like pancakes.
