I mean, look at any list of the most iconic performances ever and you will see Britney there. There is this one from a month ago where Britney has 3 entries, only tied with Madonna. The only entry Christina has is the one where she was completely overshadowed by Madonna and Britney and lashed out about it in the press 

 

Also, you can look at any list of most iconic videos ever and Britney will have multiple entries while Dirrty (or any Christina video) will be N/A. But sure, let's trust another OBH instead of Rolling Stone, Billboard etc.

I would say they are c-list even if they preferred Britney, I haven't heard anything about them in years and one top ten doesn't immediately bump you up to the A list. Except if you think Kim Petras is also A list now.
