Sergi91 Posted October 7, 2022 Posted October 7, 2022 (edited) The F w0rd. Spoiler I cannot imagine people saying: “Let me smoke a ***” with a straight face Edited October 7, 2022 by Sergi91
RussianRoulette Posted October 7, 2022 Posted October 7, 2022 Yes they do. Everywhere. Over poofter is basically gay and poof is the offensive word. Sort of like f*g. But they too use the words gay and queer.
Alldeezy Posted October 7, 2022 Posted October 7, 2022 Yeah! I think some Australians do too, I remember my mum's first bf was like I need a f** in the states and he ended up getting hit on xD
Illuminati Posted October 7, 2022 Posted October 7, 2022 (edited) Atrl has been calling gays "cigs" to bypass the censored word for quite a while now Edited October 7, 2022 by Illuminati
leightxn Posted October 7, 2022 Posted October 7, 2022 We use a lot of different phrases for cigarette to be honest... Depends on region. Cig, ciggy, f**, bine, biff, rollie, roll up. But I do laugh whenever I hear someone use that particular phrase, it's just weird. I prefer ciggy

I prefer ciggy I only heard rollie when refering to the ones you roll yourself.

Joesuxx Posted October 7, 2022 Posted October 7, 2022 Yeah it's derived from an old term (i think from the sailing industry) the *** end of the rope. Something to do with how the ends fray and look like tobacco.

Mikeymoonshine Posted October 7, 2022 Posted October 7, 2022 Tbf the *** didn't used to be commonly used as a homophobic slur in the UK. It's understood to be one now because of American culture being ported over here by media but people used to and probably still do use other terms more. Like literally just the word gay as a slur, or p**f or like "bum boy". I got called all that stuff a lot at school, never the ***.
TheBoss Posted October 7, 2022 Posted October 7, 2022 It's like the spaz word that apparently there is a huge word that got some pop stars cancelled in UK twitter, it's a kii ngl
