Also it’s very clear that people are trying to paint Amber as innocent by using Angelina’s case as “see how they just want to attack women???” And hoping that people who support Angelina will then retrospectively support Amber & forget all the undisputed evidence of Amber’s abuse in the process.
 

The people who are doing this are no better than the people who are writing all the hearsay articles about Angelina. 

 

If they actually supporting Angelina they wouldn’t lump her with someone who has been caught on tape being abusive. No way.

This! They're trying to group Amber with Angelina so badly, but Amber was actually abusive and violent on multiple occasions and caught on tape.

They are not the same and Angelina will come out on top.

The vile abuser Depp tactic isn't going to work here for many reasons. Unlike Heard, Jolie actually doesn't seem to be a hideous, unbearable person (the only thing people will try to pin on her is the "homewrecker" thing) and has a long list of goodwill to draw from.

 

Also, Depp was able to smear Heard because there was a huge disparity in their starpower. Depp is still seen as an A-lister with fans (for whatever reason) while Heard is B-list at best.  With Jolie and Pitt, they're both megastars (and you could even argue Jolie is the bigger star), so any media fueled smear campaign that Brad tries, Jolie can retaliate too.

Johnny didn’t really smear Amber though. They literally just presented evidence, Amber was unable to defend her appalling actions and therefore Johnny won. Amber got what she had coming.

I didn't mean literally Depp/his team smearing her (though I disagree that Depp didn't try to smear her, but that's another conversation), I was referring overall to the social media bot tactics used by the 4chan incels that got invested in the issue, where you'd tweet something about the case and some random account with 10 followers would reply immediately with something pro-Depp or anti-Heard. That worked for Depp because he's a huge star with tons of stans compared to Heard, but I don't think it'll work here.

Brad’s literally not accusing her of anything except her making up that he did what he did, when Ange would be pretty dumb to lie when her kids were involved. It’s not Johnny vs Amber where they accused each other of abuse.
