Europe Posted October 6, 2022 Posted October 6, 2022 It seems that almost everyone is pissed off at Netflix. Even before they raised their prices, started thinking about including ads and hinted at no longer dropping all episodes of their shows at once, everyone has a show they loved that netflix cancelled unreasonably soon. This created a lack of trust towards the streamer to the point that people don't even engage with a lot of Netflix's series anymore, since they are not worth the investment: Just as you got attached to a story and it's characters, the series is cancelled forever. If you were in charge of the company, what would you do to get it back on track and get back into people's good graces?
toy soldier. Posted October 6, 2022 Posted October 6, 2022 Their own produced content has been lacklustre for a while. Make Black Mirror level of shows and people will stay. I don't know why it's so hard
Reverse Warholian Posted October 6, 2022 Posted October 6, 2022 Stop greenlighting everything. More quality, less quantity!
shinyshimmery Posted October 6, 2022 Posted October 6, 2022 less documentaries, and produce more original content with the goal of achieving longevity. I believe Netflix can have more shows as popular as "Stranger Things" if they try harder.
Trent W Posted October 6, 2022 Posted October 6, 2022 Would try to buy back some content from 2015-2016 from other production companies. Those years were prime Netflix Make shows that don’t look like a woke carboard Inclusion more organic and natural in shows Avoid at all costs exploitative movies like Blonde. More content from independent creators, some of the best ideas come from non-corporative creatives.
Bloodflowers. Posted October 6, 2022 Posted October 6, 2022 I would try getting live content there. Maybe start by signing a deal with WWE and airing livestream episodes of Smackdown
satellites.™ Posted October 6, 2022 Posted October 6, 2022 Exclusivity. Spend the bucks to get exclusives and make LEGENDARY content like tv past. Make big stars and make working for Netflix the go to job for actors and actresses looking to break into the industry. Get rid of all of the low quality content and make that front page GLOBALLY the same and force your BEST on new viewers. That is how you make constant impact across the board.
GentleEarthquake Posted October 6, 2022 Posted October 6, 2022 revive Anne With An E, give it 10 more seasons and delete every other movie, show, etc.
Ramirodri Posted October 6, 2022 Posted October 6, 2022 i think they are trying everything. they should aim to be HBO. but they are netflix. with elite, stranger things, shi**y content for youngers.

ConceptD Posted October 6, 2022 Posted October 6, 2022 Create more stuff on the level of Santa Clarita Diet or Insatiable.
magazine Posted October 7, 2022 Posted October 7, 2022 There's nothing to fix, the company is making billions of profits - Stop raising the price - Wait to see if the new plan with ads makes success Very simple
sugarysunflower Posted October 7, 2022 Posted October 7, 2022 (edited) Stock split + issue more shares to protect it from an activist takeover Use the extra capital to purchase more businesses so that Netflix doesn’t solely depend on its content tell my shareholders we have to cut dividends for the foreseeable future till we get a healthy cash flow —— ok so they don’t even issue dividends at the moment, perhaps issue just a special dividend after 3 consecutive quarters of modest growth Cost cutting by stopping paying stupidly high fees - if they lose the stars to Amazon or Hulu, then Netflix should rebrand as the place for “up and coming talent” make original, creative, long-lasting impactful content - no rehashes or gen z crap Edited October 7, 2022 by sugarysunflower
FightForTanas Posted October 7, 2022 Posted October 7, 2022 Add more GAY shows. Remove straight dating shows.
Dancehall Queen Posted October 7, 2022 Posted October 7, 2022 I’d probably just fill it up with even more shitty unscripted reality TV. People eat that **** up. I hate shows like Is It Cake? but I heard so many people talk about it.

JonginBey Posted October 7, 2022 Posted October 7, 2022 I would sell it and retire and live a stress-free life
C-Amber Posted October 7, 2022 Posted October 7, 2022 End the stories of their series, I hate it when they suddenly cancelled so many amazing shows out of nowhere when we still don't know the damn end.

It was high art.
dussel_06 Posted October 7, 2022 Posted October 7, 2022 Stop with the Ryan Murphy shows. Bring back Black Mirror Cast Matt Smith for Zelda adaptation.
Robert Posted October 7, 2022 Posted October 7, 2022 Release season 4 of the Dragon Prince. Probably make cheaper shows too.
