Bears01 Posted October 6, 2022 Posted October 6, 2022 In honor of spooky szn, I decided to take a deep dive and discuss this. My personal favorite horror movie villain is Michael Myers, but Freddy is truly the one who gave me the creeps. His whole vibe/aura/look has always creeped me out the most. If not Freddy, who’s your answer ATRL?
God_Donna Posted October 6, 2022 Posted October 6, 2022 Jeepers creepers. From the original movie shook me.

zaso Posted October 6, 2022 Posted October 6, 2022 from the mainstream ones definitely as long as he's not too goofy tho like in the 2nd film creeper and the clown from terrifier are the overall scariest though

J Legend X Posted October 6, 2022 Posted October 6, 2022 no, he is laughable...Art the clown is way creepy and scarier...so is Michael Myers, Leather face & ghost face tbh
Subzero Posted October 6, 2022 Posted October 6, 2022 He's much more creepy while being extremely fun and camp rather than scary The only film in the franchise where he was 'scary' was probably the first film, after that he's just a super fun creeper. New Nightmare is my fave along with the first film, I love him in that one. He freaked my little brother out when he tried to eat Dylan wrapped & his tongue Nancy

Roberto Posted October 6, 2022 Posted October 6, 2022 (edited) Jean Jacket from Nope is. Merciless queen. Edited October 6, 2022 by Roberto
GraceRandolph Posted October 6, 2022 Posted October 6, 2022 He got progressively less scary, but he's definitely the most dynamic and entertaining. Silent slashers like Michael Myers and Jason Voorhees can't relate to Freddy's TABS.
Pop Life Posted October 6, 2022 Posted October 6, 2022 There's nothing even remotely scary about Freddy Kreuger, but he's a memorable character I guess.

Art is so disappointing because the writer / director are SO bad at what they do that I can't believe they even do it, but the make-up and costuming department are fantastic. He could have been something in the right hands.
Oktober Knight Posted October 6, 2022 Posted October 6, 2022 Yes, Freddy from the first film and especially the 2nd movie. Absolutely terrifying!

Oxy Posted October 6, 2022 Posted October 6, 2022 Not the scariest but the mostly iconic one. The scariest one for me its Ju On, that bich haunted me mid 2000’s.
