Not surprised tho, when was the last time you bought a CD from the store? The last time I did was probably like 2012. :rip: And I haven’t used limewire since like 2009 I think. Kids these days don’t need a CD. I work at a college and I know most of the students probably never touched a CD player in thier lives. Lmfao

I mean... of course they don't hfksduhfdshd it's like how (I assume) the 1st half of gen z doesn't know what VHS is.

I'm 21 and i knew most of the things they asked but i had no idea about "limewire" and "cd burn".  Why is it surprising tho when most of our age never had to resort to piracy and it's easily accesible to everyone? i personally never pirated anything to a CD but i've downloaded leaked songs lol

I used Limewire for the 1st MP3 player I owned around 2008/2009. I was a little kid then but yeah

And burning a CD is easy to do. The computer/laptop just gives the option when you put a clear disk in lol

Didnt VHS only go out of style by the mid 2000s?

Most of the toddler shows I watched my mom bought for me like Sesame Street are on VHS.

Even then we still used VHS throughout the 2000s for movies already bought. We had a VHS & DVD combined.

Things like this speak more to (maybe?) the ignorance or limitations of the people in question than how old the thing is tbh. I mean there are loads of things that existed before me that I know of just by coming across them in the news, forums, stories, other people etc :rip:

To be fair burning CDs has been obsolete for so long I haven't heard anyone use that term in maybe a decade :dies:

of course they wont know what it is since they didn't experience it. why would you expect a group of people to know about something they never experienced :rip:

this whole (blank) generation doesn't know x,y,z is so tired

But their random answers are such a kii :lmao:

I'd be shocked if any of them have a clue. It's totally irrelevant in their lives, they never knew a world where it was needed.

I mean the only reason I know about Limewire (Frostwire was IMO) is because I was around older family members that would use it. Same with burning CD's :deadbanana4:

Them not knowing what a vinyl is sent me but they've got to be like 13-14 so I don't expect them to know about different ways to buy albums. I didn't know what that was at that age either.
