truthteller Posted October 2, 2022 Posted October 2, 2022 it makes sense for her to re-release all the past work before the stadium tour kicks off
queenoftheclouds Posted October 2, 2022 Posted October 2, 2022 I think she had a plan in 2019 but it all got messed up so she has to improve now. Maybe the F1RST theory was right after all but the lawsuits and COVID changed that. She wanted to tour Lover in 2020 and then went straight into the re-recording era. After Fearless she teased 1989 but had to release Red because of the lawsuit. She probably wanted to release 1989 and Speak Now this year but the lawsuit Kept on going. That's why we have Midnights to hold us over. Reputation is the last album without any lawsuits or complications for 2023. She will end this process with self titled. God knows If we get TS11 and TS12 before 1989 and Speak Now.

Better question is why non-fans are so bothered. Not @suburbannature post backfiring. OT: She can't legally re-record reputation yet , maybe she's recording the vault tracks.

BloodLuster Posted October 2, 2022 Posted October 2, 2022 I say this again: she must milk the hype and drop a fan favourite (don’t blame me, delicate or call it what you want) this december or january
BraveNewSeth Posted October 2, 2022 Posted October 2, 2022 I don’t understand why she didn’t just release ST TV some time this year. Then we can get reputation TV early/mid 2023. Don’t get me wrong, I’m excited for Midnights, but I love what she’s doing with the re-recording
Mystic Warrior Posted October 2, 2022 Posted October 2, 2022 i’m sorry but as a casual Taylor fan, i will never use her TV recordings. the mixing and mastering sounds cheap and rushed (which is clear by the turnaround in which she’s releasing them), which seems to be the common (and maybe only) criticism i see from other casuals. that being said, i look forward to streaming 1989’s vault tracks. she will probably never release an album as solid as that and i had always wished it was longer.
