Stead, 27, realized on Sept. 15, the morning of her nuptials, that she had a feeling she wasn’t going to walk down the aisle to marry her partner, who she had been with for four years, when she was ghosted.

“I saw the groom at around 4 p.m. the day before the wedding and I haven’t heard from him since,” Stead, who is an insurance clerk, told SWNS.

“We’ve tried to reach out to him, but I’ve had no response from him, no reason why. I’ve had no explanation — not that I want one now, because it’s too far along the line.”

While the groom’s disappearance remains a mystery, Stead was determined to have a special day. So, she carried on with her event at the Oxwich Bay Hotel in Swansea, Wales, and even did her wedding entrance, speeches, first dances and posed for her professional photos.

It was his father who informed them he was not going to their wedding after all so he was definitely not abducted.

How can he so casually just inform that… I would be so embarrassed by my son. I don’t think I would let him leave like that. You’re giving her and their family an explanation because it’s the LEAST they deserve.

OT: Good for her! She’ll find the correct person soon. There are a lot of people in this planet.

I'd be super embarrassed too if I was the father. I would woop his ass hard and tell him to man up.

I’m guessing there’s more to the story and it didn’t come as a big shock

She found out he was not coming on the day of their wedding, like she was already wearing make up and her wedding dress then the groom's dad called them to inform his son is not coming to their wedding. So yeah, he ghosted her.

He was too handsome for her

But he’s also a pathetic coward so she dodged a bullet

I mean at that point just go through the motions of the ceremony and just make you sure you don’t sign the legal papers, and then quietly “divorce” a couple months later. Because actually leaving someone at the altar like that is so cowardly and makes you look so bad and it’s just completely pathetic overall. Engagements last months and months if not years sometimes, you had all that time to call it off. I could not imagine ever showing my face to my family or friends again if I had actually left someone at the altar like that.

I just saw that omg. Tbh he’s not very cute but so much of her IG is about the engagement and wedding :deadbanana2:. Something tells me he felt pressured to propose. Still doesn’t excuse his shitty behavior.
