I wasn't expecting her to chart at all (especially since to this day my vinyl hasn't shipped) but good for her! :clap3:

For as many vinyl variants she pressed, she is only debuting at #166?? Girl   :deadbanana2:

I was really expecting a lot higher for some reason.

Seems like the vinyl pressings were more for the UK :rip: at least it worked and she got a cute debut there. Dirty Hit still hasn't shipped my vinyl

For a rising alt pop artist like her this is great, especially when she's yet to have a hit :clap3:

For context, her debut didn't even chart on the B200 :clap3:

We love a SUCCESSFUL and ACCLAIMED album :clap3:

Not bad for a Japanese-British artist with no breakout single hit in the US :clap3:

Not you all expecting better numbers when she didn’t even release a song to radio, promoted or even had a viral hit on the US. This is pretty good and it’s a good indication on the potential she could have on her next projects there if she maintains a base and release a single to radio

She's growing :jonnycat:

This is great for her!

I really want Tiktok to do it's thing and finally give a moment to her. Rina deserves a viral hit so bad. :jonny:

This is so good! Some of the comments here... no one really knows who she is outside the gay music nerd circle, so her debuting inside the top 200 on an indie label with no radio single or promo in the US during release week is impressive. She's expanded in every single one of her markets where Sawayama charted, she's getting an even bigger budget for the next era, I'm so excited!

Really ?

I think it is very impressive. She isn't famous at all and still managed to debut on the Top 200. Not everyone is able to chart so we should be happy for her :clap3:

Upsetting. But I won’t give up. My career was built on failures and not following the mold. I won’t stop. I never have and never will. I still believe in this album. And I still will push. No matter what.

Her first and final album to chart :clap3:
