ALA Posted September 26, 2022 Posted September 26, 2022 I wasn't expecting her to chart at all (especially since to this day my vinyl hasn't shipped) but good for her!
James_Dean Posted September 26, 2022 Posted September 26, 2022 For as many vinyl variants she pressed, she is only debuting at #166?? Girl
schnetzka Posted September 26, 2022 Posted September 26, 2022 I was really expecting a lot higher for some reason.

Girl Seems like the vinyl pressings were more for the UK at least it worked and she got a cute debut there. Dirty Hit still hasn't shipped my vinyl
EnigmaticAndroid Posted September 26, 2022 Posted September 26, 2022 For a rising alt pop artist like her this is great, especially when she's yet to have a hit For context, her debut didn't even chart on the B200
State of Grace. Posted September 26, 2022 Posted September 26, 2022 We love a SUCCESSFUL and ACCLAIMED album
Bloodflowers. Posted September 26, 2022 Posted September 26, 2022 Not bad for a Japanese-British artist with no breakout single hit in the US
Julia Fox Posted September 26, 2022 Posted September 26, 2022 Not you all expecting better numbers when she didn’t even release a song to radio, promoted or even had a viral hit on the US. This is pretty good and it’s a good indication on the potential she could have on her next projects there if she maintains a base and release a single to radio
Scars Posted September 26, 2022 Posted September 26, 2022 This is great for her! I really want Tiktok to do it's thing and finally give a moment to her. Rina deserves a viral hit so bad.
BornUnbroken Posted September 26, 2022 Posted September 26, 2022 This is so good! Some of the comments here... no one really knows who she is outside the gay music nerd circle, so her debuting inside the top 200 on an indie label with no radio single or promo in the US during release week is impressive. She's expanded in every single one of her markets where Sawayama charted, she's getting an even bigger budget for the next era, I'm so excited!

I think it is very impressive. She isn't famous at all and still managed to debut on the Top 200. Not everyone is able to chart so we should be happy for her Edited September 26, 2022 by Erreur2 La Nature
schnetzka Posted September 26, 2022 Posted September 26, 2022 This is my favorite album of the year so it not debuting high makes me quite sad.
Almodusa Posted September 26, 2022 Posted September 26, 2022 Not me expecting top 10 debut dd. Well charting is still great so a wonderful album
GentleEarthquake Posted September 26, 2022 Posted September 26, 2022 This album deserves better, but i'm happy she's growing
XtianB Posted September 26, 2022 Posted September 26, 2022 Upsetting. But I won’t give up. My career was built on failures and not following the mold. I won’t stop. I never have and never will. I still believe in this album. And I still will push. No matter what.
