Every profession should be respected equally (generally speaking). I'd say the most disrespected are sex workers, cleaners, waiters, teachers (in the US), transit workers, and nurses.

Sex workers. Unlike the other professions, this one has the biggest stigma.

all the ones that actually provide valuable work and services to society (basically anyone who had to keep working during the pandemic - healthcare workers, retail, teachers, cleaners, agriculture workers, etc)

 

sex workers as well, they are looked down upon and often criminalised when in reality they're doing the same thing that any working class person does under capitalism - selling their body for a wage

 

useless middle management and executives should be disrespected. the whole finance sector should be disrespected
