Sergi91 Posted September 25, 2022 Posted September 25, 2022 (edited) Why would they think it was ok to humiliate her like this? And the fact that no one else did anything to help her Edited September 25, 2022 by Sergi91
MardinBeksloy Posted September 25, 2022 Posted September 25, 2022 What a horrible airline Anyway her partner was filming and she clearly was trying to deliver a message, hence the reluctant to help from others, i assume.

infrared Posted September 25, 2022 Posted September 25, 2022 Girl this is ******* terrible she better sue
Into The Void Posted September 25, 2022 Posted September 25, 2022 i cant believe an attendant had the audacity to say disabled people should use diapers
Cloudy Posted September 25, 2022 Posted September 25, 2022 That was horrible, that flight attendant should immediately be fired quite honestly
xclusivestylesz Posted September 25, 2022 Posted September 25, 2022 Cigarette carts? Wtf I had no idea could've smoked on planes

Wtf I had no idea could've smoked on planes They're not, the tax on cigarettes is much lower in Europe than the UK so on a lot of flights to/from the UK you can buy them in bulk duty free. As the child of smokers I grew up seeing my parents buy a lot Edited September 25, 2022 by AM98GJ
R.E.M. Posted September 25, 2022 Posted September 25, 2022 Absolutely disgusting behaviour from the flight attendants The airline should be ashamed.
Take Me Apart Posted September 25, 2022 Posted September 25, 2022 Not to be rude but she seems like the type of people to make her disability her entire personality and everyone's problem
Velvet Night Posted September 25, 2022 Posted September 25, 2022 This is absolutely disgraceful! I hope she sues the airline.

I worked in the flight industry before, she's a liability that no attendant will risk. How did she even get to the airport? Who stopped her from taking her wheelchair on to the plane? Because she CAN. This dummy dragged her ass down the isle for tik tok views. Maybe the husband should've helped her down the isle instead of filming her degrading herself is there something the flight attendant could've done that the husband wasn't capable of? She's being extra to the 60th power. Much less which airline is going to give you a first class seat for free? The entitlement of it all

The entitlement of it all I worked for an airline for three years, and, while I know exactly the type of passenger you're talking about, she is still 100% correct. They needed to have her in the front row at the very least. Even if "wheelchair" wasn't put into the system until later, you have to do what you can to ensure the safety of the passenger.

Airlines have special wheelchairs designed to go through the aisles of a plane.
TurntUp Posted September 26, 2022 Posted September 26, 2022 (edited) The airline probably can’t assist for liability reasons. Edited September 26, 2022 by TurntUp
Protocol Posted September 26, 2022 Posted September 26, 2022 I was on a WestJet flight recently where there was a long line of people, some of them seniors, waiting to use the restrooms, while further up ahead on the plane there were empty washrooms, but those people weren't allowed to use them because "these are for business class only, sorry". Air stewardesses and airlines are evil sometimes. There is no reason to deprive people of being able to use the bathroom. It's a plane not the Titanic. I actually submitted a complaint.

I mean, if you're not in business class you can't use business class facilities, that's quite normal.

When you don't, and buy normal tickets, you get the normal facilities access. It's all logical and simple so don't mix morality into it.
A.R.L Posted September 27, 2022 Posted September 27, 2022 Girls, it's not a flight attendant's job to move, lift and handle people with special needs, or lift your bags into the overhead compartment. it’s not part of their job or training. And I won't even talk about the mess that will happen if the flight attendant gets injured while carrying too much weight on the ground or in the air. 19 hours ago, Protocol said: I think it’s cruel and unnecessary and classist, it’s just a bathroom. U should be ashamed for bootlicking that hard. lets be honest, parts of what business class passengers pay for are “shorter” toilet queues and better amenities.
