Beyoncé | Renaissance World Tour | Tour of the Decade leaves all in awe!

So I am VERY DEVASTATED. My friend got us concert tickets with good seats at very affordable prices right when tickets went on sale. Now 2 weeks away from seeing her on my birthday as a gift and treat to myself after being offered and invited, he goes on to tell me today that he's having car trouble and has already put both of our tickets for resale. I feel completely betrayed that this wasn't at least a conversation that was had with me prior. That a decision was made for me to be cheated out of an experience because of his circumstances. The fact that he wasn't even trying to negotiate selling them to me or at least giving me my ticket is just wild and kind of gave off like if I can't go then you can't go energy. I don't know what to do. This really would've been a special thing for me. My first Beyonce show for one of my favorite albums by her and on my 30th birthday? I legit have cried over this. I really don't know what to do but all I know is that I really wanted to go.

What the ****? You should still go as a treat for yourself! If you can find tickets and afford the travel then go and your friend will just have to miss out that’s not your fault

Next stop: United States

So are they equating Europe to worldwide?

Yeah, I think the tour might be over after the US.

The video is really cool, nevertheless.

The show started kinda late (or normal), it started at 8:40ish. I thought it was going to start at 7. Anyway, mother had me GAG sooo many times through the show. Also Lizzo was at the show too.
Now about the show, me thinks this is better than Formation (and I’ve been to 3 Formation shows) :fan:  She definitely seem happier and more interactive with the crowd which was nice. I don’t think I can pick a favorite section because they’re all amazing, but Break My Soul and Formation are definitely my personal highlight. Something about hearing BMS in a stadium just hits different :jonny5:

I kinda wish she did a second Philly date… really don’t know why when it’s a super convenient spot for folks around Jersey, NY, DC and Maryland. Now I’m tempted to get a lower level at MetLife to enjoy the whole show. The production was insane! The mechanical arms/fan, clam, and horse :jonny5:

Glad you had a great time. It's a fantastic show.

How come she's systematically late this tour and not just by a couple minutes but most times almost 2h? Barcelona started really late too.

Even her usual infaillible punctuality and her rigorous professionalism are gone this era.

8 30 is a Normal time to start though. 7pm is usually for opening acts. It’s probably to do with curfew for each venue.

I hope she won't perform the 3 songs again :bird:

Don't you worry about that. If it's ever coming back, it will be for the Houston dates. :gaycat6:

No but really wtf is up with her performing with the shades on? :deadbanana:So annoying

It was only the first half of Cuff It, Church Girl and AHAP at the start of the tour, now she holds them on for almost 3 entire segments

This is why I buy my tickets by myself and for myself to avoid situations like these. If I do (which is rare), I transfer their ticket and go from there. Don't let that ruin your parade. Still go, it's much easier and less stressful to get a ticket to this than a certain tour from what I'm seeing. You are still in the building regardless of whichever ticket you get.

Vegas night 2 is selling pretty slow, but it seems like it'll be sold out when the time comes. I'm much more optimistic about it now. :chick1:

I think Vegas will go very quickly when the date approaches, a lot of people go to Vegas and then look up / decide what they're doing lol. I could see bunch of tourists snatching the nosebleeds for sure.

it's kind of odd to have 2 dates in Vegas though. not as bad as having 2 dates in Missouri, but still kinda weird.

Right, she hasn't been to Vegas in like 10 years. It'll sell out, but I think it'll be serving Stockholm energy in terms of the audience. :rip:

Hopefully my Club Renny experience will be tame and I won't have to throw some hands with tourists for barricade. :thing:

I'd go without hesitation but my hands are tied financially speaking. I'm trying to get out of debt. Her tickets from what I'm seeing for decent seats are going 1k and I dont have that kind of money on me right now. Yeah I learned my lesson. Never ever again do I want to go through this. But when I tell you I want to go, I WANT TO GO. I almost was going to consciously purposely max out a credit card but if I do so I'm royally ******. Priorities first I guess. But uh I was SO close. Just 2 weeks away. Mind you this same friend has been making multiple attempts to hangout with me prior and I was declining because I've been busting my ass working multiple jobs to pay him back for the ticket and get myself out of debt only for this to happen smfh

Take this from someone who made the impulsive choices in the past (and the present:rip:) and learned the hard way the consequences of those decisions, you are making the right choice. I know it hurts not being able to go due to finances but don’t go in further debt for a concert no matter who it is. I say that as a huge Bey fan. You have your head in the right place by prioritizing what’s important. More power to you. I’m sorry for your friend failing you like this. :weeps:

The next time she tours and you’re debt free (manifesting this for you) you will feel so much better leaving that show knowing you don’t have a huge credit card bill looming over you. :gaycat6:
