Same with Madge when she was in her prime. Her shows have always been album track heavy bc it adds to the narrative of the show vs trying to force fit old songs

I agree with this. I’ve been saying survivor for the longest lol. And the Alien Superstar chorus needs to stand out more.

The thing you have to remember about tours is that 60% of the audience has probably never seen her before, probably 90% do not actively search/ watch her live performances online. For most of the UK audience people, the last time they saw her perform Halo was in 12 years ago at Glastonbury... And even then, most casual fans probably havent seen the whole set so probably half the audience never heard Halo being performed live  

 

Stan culture is truly niche

That’s like going to an MJ show for the first time and not seeing any of his hits performed. Even if she doesn’t bring the other songs back sweet dreams and freakum dress would fare better than some of the other songs.

As someone who has seen her 6 times I’m extremely happy she’s going for a Madonna approach and making her tours more current album heavy. Especially with an album like Renaissance because it’s so amazing. I get that this might be some people’s first time seeing her but I think she’s at point where she can go this route. She’s earned it. And as someone who has heard Halo 6 times and 6 different ways  I’m happy she’s giving it a well deserved break.

Flaws and All is actually a great moment live. Especially with this new arrangement. She definitely loves singing it and because of the message you will feel her energy, it's very endearing. If you haven't seen the show yet trust me you will love this moment, regardless of how you feel about the song.

Yeah, I don't get the comments here. F&A is great live, well yes because Beyoncé is an incredible live artist, probably the best ever. But Halo can be just as well performed anf nothing beats the europhia of a widely known song sang by an artist in a stadium and hummed by the entirety of 40-50k people because every single one of them knows that song. As everyone knows I don't like the song much but locals go to concerts much more than us. 

 

But still the show is practically flaw-free, just for the fact that we get almost all of REN.
