im sure she will easily snag a week in the top 10 with her next solo single and album but she wont have much longevity.

Absolutely not. Spears having a hit even with an actually popular collaborator is impossible. HMC has done nothing by fall down the charts and is currently picking up speed on its fall down (US #77 on spotify down from a top 20 peak just a few weeks ago). It's not possible for her because she's not musically relevant anymore.

Out of curiosity I decided to open Spotify today, looking for Christina's new lead single "No Es Que Te Extrane" debut streams and it apparently received 3k streams on its first day !

 

Hold Me Closer is still receving around 1.750M streams more than a month after its release. It is not very high but it is stable since most of its updates were around 1.8M in the first days.

 

I gave a stream to both legends today !
