Hector Posted September 20, 2022 Posted September 20, 2022 TOP 20: A GLOBAL SHOWDOWN (UPDATE) Fan-initiated sales and streaming parties, along with digitally signed D2C packages, are fueling an increase in our projection for YG/Interscope's BLACKPINK. The increased activity now puts our overall first-week estimate at 88k—within striking distance of #1. Can the K-Pop sensations overtake Rimas' Bad Bunny? Stay tuned for updates throughout the week. Bunny, who was just nominated for 10 Latin Grammys, is fighting for his 12th nonconsecutive week at #1 with Un Verano Sin Ti. In addition to BLACKPINK, K-pop stans have another big release to cheer on this week, as SM/Virgin has NCT 127’s 2 Baddies–The Fourth Album opening at #3. Interscope also scores the only other debut in the Top 10, EST Gee’s I Never Felt Nun (CMG/Warlike), as Columbia’s Koe Wetzel opens in the Top 15 with Hell Paso (YellaBush). Now if you'll excuse us, we're headed for the Kogi truck and a heaping order of kimchi carnitas fries.

MotoPapi Posted September 22, 2022 Posted September 22, 2022 Well, it won’t be an organic #1 like Bad Bunny would have since bp stans are using fraudulent tactics even setting up PayPal funds to mass buy copies… bad bunny is #1 based on gp demand.

Oh and ofc not mentionning YG scamming Blinks with a 50$ albums, plus expensive concert tickets on Born Pink release day and digipacks(20$, the price of most kpop albums) not available physically at Target etc...And not mentionning BP is the only kpop act with BTS to get some streams from their albums. Twice also had a countdown on their website but you're using this just to bash Blackpink. I don't have anything against Twice, just you're shady with the 94k pure sales. If Blackpink get the #1 I will be happy for them, if they don't it will only be YG fault for being too greedy. If the album had been 25-30$ they would have sell more. Edit : Twice has 4 versions not 3* Edited September 22, 2022 by Lalisa

MardinBeksloy Posted September 22, 2022 Posted September 22, 2022 Yassss come thru!!! They sold 55K with 50$ albums, we need to pull through with the discount ones.
