Just straight up horrible, she went to Tori Amos School of Album Covers with this one. 48 minutes ago, Raptus said: Wait, why is this true Fossora is her American doll posse Wigs, bad wigs everywhere This actually hurts because it’s so true
RT Air Posted September 17, 2022 Posted September 17, 2022 I don’t get the hate for the Volta cover at all, I think it fits the album’s vibe perfectly? It’s vibrant but with an earthy, ancient sculpture-like form… kinda like the Venus of Willendorf electrified I hate to say it but the Fossora cover is a hot mess I’ve learned to appreciate it for exactly that, though.
Wondy Lust Posted September 17, 2022 Posted September 17, 2022 The way Post's original cover also stomps on all the other album covers too whew, she was visually ahead lightyears of the other girlies I'm afraid
SpaceOddity Posted September 17, 2022 Posted September 17, 2022 1. Homogenic 2. Post 3. Medulla 4. Vespertine 5. Vulnicura 6. Volta 7. Biophilia 8. Fossora 9. Debut 10. Utopia. But they're all so good.
Mikeymoonshine Posted September 17, 2022 Posted September 17, 2022 I am really struggling to choose to be honest. She has such good covers. Homogenic, Post, Medulla, Biophillia and Vulnicura are all really beautiful and really interesting covers. If I had to pick a best I guess Post. Something about it is just really perfect. I think her worst is unfortunately Fossora because of the wig and the editing. Like it's still a nice cover but it has issues.
flower moon Posted September 17, 2022 Posted September 17, 2022 post > homo > vespertine > debut > vulnicura > medulla >>>>>> bio > utopia > volta > fossora
Holiest Dreams Posted September 18, 2022 Posted September 18, 2022 I don’t really understand the hate for Utopia’s cover. It is ‘ugly’ yeah but in an interesting way, I like how it looks. Very unique and weird.
Raptus Posted September 18, 2022 Posted September 18, 2022 At least Volta cover looked fresh in 2007. Utopia cover was rotten garbage from day one
popmusicisdead Posted September 18, 2022 Posted September 18, 2022 (edited) Best: Vespertine Worst: Volta it applies to the quality as well Edited September 18, 2022 by popmusicisdead
John Slayne Posted September 18, 2022 Posted September 18, 2022 Post is the best, although the album is not my favourite Volta is the worst by far. I don't get the hate for Utopia and Fossora, just because the covers have a lot going on does not make them bad. I think they represent their respective albums well and feel very Bjork to me, I don't know why you guys still expect her to deliver basic photoshoots like Debut (as fierce as it is)

rmmas Posted September 18, 2022 Posted September 18, 2022 I always thought that she was wearing h hat on Post cover
B-Luke Posted September 18, 2022 Posted September 18, 2022 Best: Homogenic (iconic) Worst: Vespertine (not much going on compared to the others)
mrmayman Posted September 18, 2022 Posted September 18, 2022 Best: Post Worst: Fossora I really like the Vulnicura vinyl cover.
