Green Posted September 16, 2022 Posted September 16, 2022 Two Yous And A Me: Having topped the chart with Someone You Loved in 2019, and Before You Go in 2020, Lewis Capaldi racks up his third No.1 with Forget Me. Opening its account with consumption of 56,882 units – the highest for a No.1 single for eight weeks and made up of 5,561 CDs, 2,889 7-inch vinyl, 5,866 digital downloads and 42,566 sales-equivalent streams – Forget Me is the third track to open atop the chart this year, the others being Dave’s Starlight and Harry Styles’ As It Was. Forget Me ends dance music’s 10-week domination of the chart, blocking a third straight No.1 from the sector in the form of I’m Good (Blue), which holds at No.2 for David Guetta feat Bebe Rexha while increasing consumption 12.24% week-on-week to 48,139 units. B.O.T.A. (Baddest Of Them All) - No.1 for the last two weeks for Eliza Rose & Interplanetary Criminal – dips to No.3, although it increases consumption by 31 units to a best-yet 46,756. Chris Brown scores his 19th Top 10 hit – but his first as the sole artist (and fifth in all solus) since 2012 – with viral 2019 track Under The Influence climbing 14-9 (22,209 sales). Meanwhile, Nicki Minaj has her eighth top five hit – but her first as the sole artist (and third in all) since 2014 – with Super Freaky Girl (6-5, 29,271 sales). 1. FORGET ME, LEWIS CAPALDI NEW 2. Ger Posted September 16, 2022 Posted September 16, 2022 Congrats Lewis, he's huge in the UK, wish the song was better, but happy for him nevertheless. Guetta/Bebe should be coming next week.
LastGreatBloodline Posted September 16, 2022 Posted September 16, 2022 what was the last #1 to have more points than Forget Me?
Happylittlepunk Posted September 16, 2022 Posted September 16, 2022 Glad he isn’t a one hit wonder. He is here to stay like Ed sheeran.
IMadeYouReadThis Posted September 16, 2022 Posted September 16, 2022 (edited) Good for him! Forget Me SLAPS but y'all aren't ready for that conversation and that's okay. That Bebe/Guetta song 'sampling' Blue is so irritating, I'm glad something listenable has beat it to number one! Edited September 16, 2022 by IMadeYouReadThis
