What an awful take. I've only seen her in Stranger Things but she seems to be a good actress and has been seemingly sticking with smaller and indie roles. I could understand if she wasn't any good but that does not seem to be the case here. Should she not pursue her passions just because it was her parents passion as well?

Also she is a talented singer and attractive in a refreshingly non cookie cutter way.

Her Joe in the Little Women TV movie was praised as well as her stint on ST where she has quickly become a favorite character.

This was amazing, unhinged and a wild ride omg. It’s like if Mean Girls and Cruel Intentions got together.
 

The turns and twists had me gagging  The fashion, the soundtrack and chemistry between the two leads were excellent too.

 

Now that Netflix has proven it can create top tier teen movies, Imma need them to serve more of this.

Saw this last night the twists were well done and actually unexpected a few times it was not predictable which is good

I appreciate that they wanted to stand out with the cute production design, I’ll give them that.

 

But overall it was meh. All the energy it had in the first act disappeared as the film progressed. The actors in their respective series are good, but here.... everyone was dull. Except for the leading girls.
