Because I genuinely can't find it anywhere. When you look it up, it's just Little Monsters claiming that without providing the actual source from Oricon The first sentence of your post makes it seem like you're talking about figures from the overall album chart from Oricon, which is point based, not sales based, so the 105K figure would indeed be wrong. On that chart, 300 views = 1 point, for example. Oricon has no chart that isn't point-based that combines digitals with physicals. They are usually counted separately. @ViviLittleM can you post the source please? I saw it on PopA911 but now I cant find it.

lcylcy Posted September 14, 2022 Posted September 14, 2022 (edited) Not to downplay her success she’s undeniable huge in Japan, especially during her peak she’s like only behind Mariah and Avril but Chromatica only appeared in the general album chart for two weeks its peak was #34 and this week is the second week it ever charted and it’s at #41 the math just ain’t mathing Edited September 14, 2022 by lcylcy

The way you keep calling out Monsters here for posting fake info (and even confirming you went to GagaDaily ) but meanwhile you keep saying incorrect stuff Chromatica Tour Edition's sales are being counted seperately by Oricon, as its evident on their site.

Love how you ignore everything I said and, yet again, failed to provide an actual source. Literally nothing I said what inaccurate. YOU are the one that brought up the Combo chart to justify the 105K figure. I doubt you even know how Oricon works, so you acting brave here is just laughable. I bet you checked out Gaga's Oricon page and saw the tour edition and the normal edition being 2 separate entities and ran with it without asking question since it fits your narrative. Maybe if you were a bit more knowledgable, you'd know that all the versions of an album are combined for the Oricon combo chart, while the normal edition and the tour edition would chart separately on the actual sales charts (physicals, digitals). Otherwise, why do you think Chromatica randomly started charting on the Combo chart again after months of being out RIGHT when the tour edition is released? And that's with you still ignoring the fact that the chart is point-based and not sales-based, mind you I'm begging you to find anything that I said that is actually incorrect, because in trying to prove it you only ended up saying, well, incorrect things Still waiting for a source by the way!
Popboi. Posted September 15, 2022 Posted September 15, 2022 (edited) Months later and still no one can prove these numbers dddd they're literally impossible. Factual numbers, Chromatica did 25,266 on it's first 20 weeks reported by Oricon on physical sales, digital sales are lower than physical in Japan by MILES. So unless a miracle happened and she sold just beneath the threshold to chart every single day... she's probably at not even half of those 100k. 18 hours ago, babyforlife said: It’s for japan tour edition. Future Nostalgia charted for 61 weeks. Edited September 15, 2022 by Popboi.
