_Fey Posted September 5, 2022 Posted September 5, 2022 (edited) Reviews are coming in for Olivia Wilde's 'Dont Worry Darling" Metacritic: https://www.metacritic.com/movie/dont-worry-darling Rotten Tomatoes: https://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/dont_worry_darling Quote If this film is really about female pleasure, we’d hate to see Wilde’s interpretation of a film about female pain. This one hurts enough. Grade: C- https://www.indiewire.com/2022/09/dont-worry-darling-movie-review-olivia-wilde-1234756185/ Quote The high-concept, low-satisfaction psychological thriller marks an ambitious upgrade in scope for Wilde from the character-driven coming-of-age comedy of Booksmart, and she handles the physical aspects of the project with assurance. It’s just a shame all the effort has gone into a script without much of that 2019 debut’s disarming freshness. https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/movies/movie-reviews/dont-worry-darling-review-florence-pugh-harry-styles-olivia-wilde-1235208514/ Edited September 7, 2022 by _Fey
fridayteenage Posted September 5, 2022 Posted September 5, 2022 This is gonna get a bunch of RAZZIE noms, but Miss Flo should be safe. A few years ago, Mother! actually got a 75 on Metacritic, but because of the negative press it still got into Worst Director and Actress. The press and reviews here are much worse.

Cherish Posted September 5, 2022 Posted September 5, 2022 My only complaint about the movie so far was the inclusion of Nick Kroll as a serious character….I fear I won’t enjoy it though but I wanna see it so bad

harwee Posted September 5, 2022 Posted September 5, 2022 Honestly the script is also my issue with Booksmart, so can't say I'm surprised. But will still watch it!
Beyonnaise Posted September 5, 2022 Posted September 5, 2022 The Gigli of the 20s, this entire fiasco will be looked back upon with nothing but ridicule
Tusk Posted September 5, 2022 Posted September 5, 2022 Olivia's midlife crisis relationship has sunken her career.

Arcadius Posted September 5, 2022 Posted September 5, 2022 The drama is certainly not helping I'm sure.
_Fey Posted September 5, 2022 Author Posted September 5, 2022 Thank u everyone for bringing 48 (-3) to my attention
youreyesgocold Posted September 5, 2022 Posted September 5, 2022 I mean… after that Harry clip is anyone really shocked?
Sesame Posted September 5, 2022 Posted September 5, 2022 One look at the review highlights and there seems to be a lot of praise for Miss Flo and not a single mention of Harry Styles. Is he a main character in the film?
_Fey Posted September 5, 2022 Author Posted September 5, 2022 It has debuted with a 60% on rotten tomatoes https://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/dont_worry_darling
KnightOfAllRealms Posted September 5, 2022 Posted September 5, 2022 I predicted the Metascore correctly in that prediction thread
bad guy Posted September 5, 2022 Posted September 5, 2022 Once again the film industry says NO to Harry Styles
beatinglikeadrum Posted September 5, 2022 Posted September 5, 2022 Miss Florence, I'm so sorry...that Oliwia would even cast this talentless person to the same movie
