Clearly the kid was ok. Also, sometimes you have to laugh and make jokes when a kid falls over or hits their head so it doesn't add stress to the situation. Kids get over stuff like this in 2 minutes.

exactly. This is done ALL THE TIME. The moment the kid sees the parent is worried they lose all sense of security and start crying and the situation gets worse.

exactly lmfao, i remember doing this with my siblings when one fell or hit their head i'd just cheer and clap like it was a happy thing, it always worked. 

when you run over and pick them up they get spooked and start crying and screaming like they lost a limb
