Zoe_ Posted September 4, 2022 Posted September 4, 2022 (edited) Beatles and Drake are the only artists to have ten+ Hot100 #1s and ten+ Top200 #1s. Elvis Pre-Hot100 songs are not officially counted by Billboard. These are the three active and closest females. (#1Singles/#1 Albums) *Madonna (12 singles/9 albums) *Taylor (8 singles/10 albums) *Beyoncé (8 singles/7 albums) Who joins the club first? Edited September 4, 2022 by Zoe_

Freaky Prince Posted September 4, 2022 Posted September 4, 2022 Taylor obvioisly. Madonna too if it's a slower week when she releases a new album.
TheArgonaut Posted September 4, 2022 Posted September 4, 2022 Madonna probably will be first and Taylor will follow. Also, Taylor already has 10 #1 albums.
Jennifer Posted September 4, 2022 Posted September 4, 2022 Taylor probably but if Madonna drops a new album she’d get it too (if it’s a slow week)
Hunter_13 Posted September 4, 2022 Posted September 4, 2022 (edited) Doesn't Taylor have ten number 1 albums already? Edited September 4, 2022 by Hunter_13
Green Posted September 4, 2022 Posted September 4, 2022 Madonna could with her next studio album Taylor will obviously do it with her next 2 albums/lead singles.
Zoe_ Posted September 4, 2022 Author Posted September 4, 2022 I accidentally created two topics. I've also edited. Taylor has 10 #1 Albums
Michael196 Posted September 4, 2022 Posted September 4, 2022 Taylor if she drops a single this month and launches another on album release or the week before...
John Slayne Posted September 4, 2022 Posted September 4, 2022 Madonna will not release a studio album anytime soon, Taylor is more likely to do it considering how often she releases.
byzantium Posted September 5, 2022 Posted September 5, 2022 (edited) My guess is Taylor. She might do it before the end of the year. Madonna may also sneak in, but she would need a good campaign, a less competitive week, and a little bit of luck. I could potentially see Ariana getting there someday. Also, how close is Mariah? Edited September 5, 2022 by byzantium
PrudenceHCharmed Posted September 5, 2022 Posted September 5, 2022 Taylor definitely. Ugh B had 12 #1 singles and 9 #1 albums with DC included plus another #1 album with Dreamgirls soundtrack.
JC96 Posted September 5, 2022 Posted September 5, 2022 I see very difficult that a new Madonna's album get #1 on Billboard since tour bundles/merch bundles are not counted anymore and with the streaming era, makes even harder get #1 with pure sales So, probably Taylor
GreatestLoveofAll Posted September 5, 2022 Posted September 5, 2022 we all know its taylor... its been discussed numerous times before.
Zoe_ Posted September 5, 2022 Author Posted September 5, 2022 I know Bey is further away but she will "allegedly" release 2 more albums which could get #1. Janet Jackson (10 singles/7 albums) Mariah Carey (19 singles/6 albums) Ariana Grande (6 singles/5 albums)
