To be fair, the three invests active now probably won't be much; we'll likely get Danielle and Earl but they should both stay out at sea.

 

The reason for the lack of activity is unseasonably high wind shear as well the the presence of significant amounts of Saharan dust.

I do feel like September/October will pick up quite a bit!

this is honestly really odd and surprising, everyone expected an above-average season and i'm not sure if that can still happens. There's still september and october so let's see

Last years season was awful so hopefully this years will give some temporary peace :/

We need a break after that chaotic ass 2020 when we nearly made it to Hurricane Kappa :skull: Hope it stays like that

Considering how awful have been the droughts here in Mexico, not sure if this is good or bad.

And in my country, we had the mildest summer in YEARS (it typically gets almost 40+ degrees throughout the entire summer - we only had a few days that almost reached 40 degrees) and had the BEST winter in years, which filled all of our dams. 

 

Maybe the Globe started Warming up to us.
