One of my childhood friends currently lives in Wellington and she always complains that there isn't much to do in the city. That being said, casual racism/racial micro-agressions felt much less severe to her compared to her experiences in Sydney, Australia. 

 

Auckland seems lovely. I'd love to visit one day.
