How is this possible? The original was top 20 on US Spotify when it was a single, was that (plus the streams it would have got in other countries) not enough for global top 100?

The way Lana was so bullied during the Born to Die era and she ended up having the last laugh. The era is also at 15m+ units and rapidly growing. This lends credence to the theory that it was her who stole Gaga's gays circa 2012-2013 leading to the ARTPOP crash, no shade.

I think people are also associating the song with being the end of vacation and having to go back to school
