Maroon is actually a cute title and I was so happy we got Track 2 finally. It will be a classic

I checked Wikipedia and apparently there’s no other song ever named “Maroon”? Closest I found was “Marooned”

I 100% believe she’s gonna use the verb definition of that word

just looked it up real quick and feaji and Ken Nordine have songs named maroon

I got lashings several hundred pages back saying it’s a Vault album and now here she is wearing her Red ring announcing a song title. What do you say now?! :dies::laugh:

i still makes 0 sense. give it up

I need her to reveal one of the long titles just to see what type of non-sense meltdown it will cause in here :celestial2:

I will need her to tell us about descriptions about the songs. Maroon could be about love or about the night she went to Taco Bell and ended up spitting poop and blood through her anus.

As much as I would have liked a pre-release single (and maybe we still might - I know the first video has long been filmed), she probably learned from 'Happier Than Ever.' If Billie would have waited and released nothing and then Happier Than Ever Week before (or right when the album was released) the impact would have been bigger tbh.

Billie released like 5 singles before the album, starting months ago. Half of them weren't single worthy songs either. Totally different scenarios.

Releasing a good lead single less than a month before the album would do nothing but help.

She doesn't need to learn from HTE when she herself had Lover that went from a 1M debut prediction to failing to reach the 1M mark as more and more singles were released:cm:

There wasn't 1M prediction for Lover.

The only reason she wouldnt want to release a lead is because there is no hit on the album

And thats okay as long as the album is a serve and hopefully different from folkmore (love folkmore but dont need a third album like that for now)

That said lead single is coming next friday 10/7, i just know it

Knowing her, it’s obviously about the latter :gaycat2:

That's the highest end. The range is from 600k to 1M and that was before the album release.

After the release, the initial prediction was 775-850k and it increased later. Predictions didn't decrease after ME!. Except that, ME! was the worst possible scenario so expecting the same outcome for any possible lead single doesn't make any sense.

The way she has like 7 albums charting in Ireland and Belgium like it's nothing these days :wanda:

It is a prediction at the end.
And the date of the report is 3 days before Lover album came out

I believe she’s strong enough now there to fill two Croke Park dates with no issue :gaycat3: same goes for the UK, her growth has been cute to see

pre release predictions are based on nothing that trying to clout for clicks and they always end up looking dumb af

this year they did it to Kendrick/Bey/Bad Bunny/Harry/Jack Harlow and they ended looking like a clown with every single one of them

these Lover was predicted to do 1M are extremely stupid... it was her first album to be released in full on streaming services on release da and it was inevitable that she's was going to sell way less pure that usual.

I mean Lover ended up doing 860k, which is between the high and medium range then it was not a terrible prediction.
And to be clear. The other user said "There were no predictions of 1M for Lover" and is not true. HDD, a trustable page whether has been good or wrong, published one of it doing it. If I agree with it or not, is another thing which I have not said anything on.

Point is we have no idea what Lover would have done first week with no lead single or a different lead single
