I could see her doing an "X marks the spot" title.

Red pre-release are such a moment the 1 2 3 4 5 punch, the GMA snippet then she goes on and explain what`s the song about. The weekly Itune slayage. The song diversity from pure pop, dubstep, ballad, country, rock.

We had it so easy back then.

I don’t think a melodist like Taylor Swift wishes she wrote a Kacey Musgraves song

I mean Golden Hour is a classique album that I still stream to this day, so no shade to her, but in terms of melodies… what they do is very different, I’ll say that

This kinda reminds me that I truly don’t want a single hint of country on Midnights :rip: We have had an out of place yeehaw moment on her last three albums, all of which felt shoehorned in because the albums were not country at all. I mean, Evermore has CLM which is a collapse and fits perfectly, but NBNC/Betty/SYGB on the other hand…

She will probably have a country comeback someday which I will welcome with open arms if done right, but I’d rather her not sprinkle it into all her albums and instead fully commit to whatever sound she’s going for. Folklore was fully committed to being an alternative / folk (and of course pop) album, but then the inclusion of one country jingle throws me off. Anyway, not like it takes away from her masterpieces and I can skip it if I dislike it, but I want every song on this album to be committed to the pop, alt, rock vibes or whatever she seems to be going for…

You’re younger than our fave so you’re forever youthful in my books! I’m 24 and find it so exciting that she’ll pretty much be releasing music forever because she’s a psycho and I cannot wait personally! I can’t wait to experience life with her as the constant soundtrack :weeps:

With the re-recordings, what do we think will be next? I honestly think she’ll drop another two next year as she’s touring :rip:

I’m hoping for 1989 and Speak Now tbh. But in the meantime - ME!dnights :jonny:

I think it will be 1989 (TV) next May/June, just in time for her brand new tour :gaycat2:

Ugh don’t get me started. Does anyone else remember when she stanned Hilary’s BIBO on tumblr and then 2 years later she basically stole the lyrics for Getaway Car??? I still cringe over it to this day :deadbanana4:

I mean, to be fair there are two very iconic songs titled Purple Rain and November Rain :giraffe:  Don’t see much difference here

I think it’s a very Swiftian song title. It’s not like she’s the type of artist to serve crazy Björk song titles ala Trölla-Gabba :biblionny:

Is this during the release week perhaps? I am coincidentally in Lisbon for the album release weekend and would love to go to any album release parties if there are some.

henny I think much of the fan base is probably around your age actually. Most of the fans are now like 23-30 ish I think so you'll fit right in.

There is a wave of younger teenage to 22 year old fans due to the Lover era (spelling is fun's impact) but you are not really old yet.

Milk these last three years though before the gay death comes for you at 30 :gaycat3:
