oh wow 2000 pages. Let’s celebrate that sis :clap3:

Anywayssss does anyone else just randomly search for this 20 second clip to relive the moment Taylor saved the whales via echolocation??! They say her vocals soared across the pacific and lured poachers away from those poor defenceless animals like a siren call, it’s true it’s true. And yet all we ever hear is how she destroyed the ozone :)

Ugh the vocal supremacy while doing basic hygiene. Bitter that her ear wax snatched front row seats. Can’t relate :deadbanana2:

Crazy how on first listen the only song I liked was Snow On The Beach and it aged like milk for me :deadbanana4: It would've been a perfect album if it ended at track 15. The first 10 tracks especially, whew, everything is A+.

I wouldn't consider myself a swiftie, I really adore folklore and midnights, but I don't really enjoy most of the rest of her discography yet

Glad to see I'm not the only one with the same feeling on SOTB. It used to be in my top 5, maybe even top 3, and now it's really close to the bottom in my ranking. Same thing happened with YOYOK but I am pretty sure I'm the only one in the situation. In the end, the only tracks for which my love has never changed are WCS and Maroon.

I swear I changed my mind about every track :deadbanana4: This always happens to me though, the good thing is that I'll have enjoyed the whole album in the end lol

I hated Question and Paris, now I'm obsessed with them. Same thing also happened with folklore, I tried to get into it for two whole years and it only clicked in summer 2022.

One of the most boring songs on midnights

Posted

Snow on the beach is a ******* disappointment. Such a basic , boring song - and its ironic since the genius lana del Rey is featured on it, which her backing vocals are honestly the only good thing in the song.

Maroon on repeat lately

It’s just very basic and it feels lazy. I like the song but it is a massive disappointment coming from the 2 leading female songwriters tbh

While we know that the no pre album release helped the album as a whole perform better because people were curious about the sound of the album, anti hero was definitely hurt a bit. I think it would have pulled bigger numbers than flowers BUT I’m not sure if it would have performed better on its 3/4 day since 15.7M is insane. Hopefully for the next era she can go back to pre album singles and maximize the number of smashes
